decided to create a journal here to keep myself motivated to work harder. my main plan is to just control my calorie intake, cant really do those portion control or those more complicated diets as i have limited time to prepare those foods, therefore my diet is rather simple

height: 172 cm
weight: 107kg (as at 15/4/2011)

meal:
breakfast: low fat cereal + low fat milk / oat
lunch: normal meal
dinner: same as breakfast
in between meals: biscuits, fruits, etc. anything with low calorie

20 min cardio 4 times per week

after going with this plan on and off for a few weeks, current stat as at 29/5/2011 is as below:

weight: 97kg

going to start keeping a active journal as per today

30/5/2011

breakfast: cereal + low fat milk
lunch: chicken rice
dinner: cereal + low fat milk
in between meals: none

exercise:
30 min of cardio alternating between slow jog and walk (my stamina still s*cks so cant run much)

any comments are welcomed

current short term goal: 90 kg by 7/7/2011
weight as at 15/4/2011: 107kg
weight as at 29/5/2011: 97 kg
weight as at 2/6/2011: 96 kg
weight as at 5/6/2011: 95 kg

my plan - advice needed

Hi all, need some advice here. Some brief introduction about myself, im currently 24 years old. Led an extremely unhealthy life previously, i simply eat eat eat and rarely move at all . That results in me getting in an extremely bad shape. A year ago i started working, and therefore i started taking long walks everyday, around 30 min walk each time, totalling 1 hour walk time per day. My weight went down from 117kg to 105kg within that year.

Recently been told by my doctor im having high blood pressure from my weight, and advised me to start losing weight since im still young to avoid using medication to reduce my high blood pressure. Therefore i started reading around on diet plans, and devise a plan for myself and start my journey to get healthy.

Breakfast - oatmeal (taking those 0 sugar oat, those tasteless oat) or cereal + low fat milk

Lunch - eat normally, its out of my control since im eating out with colleagues

Dinner - same as breakfast

Between meals - fruits, or some of those jacob crackers to satisfy my hunger

I jog for around 20 min, around 4 - 5 times per week. Have no immediate plans to hit the gym, but planning to get myself some dumbells for strength training. Due to my previous unhealthy lifestyles i am extremely weak, cant even do a proper push up.

Started around mid April, lost 7 kg in 2 weeks. In my third week friends coming over to town and me as host have to bring them around for makan makan. Gained 2 kg in my third week.

So for all sifus out there, any suggestions for me to improve my weight loss plan? Currently weights 100kg at 172cm. Thank u all in advance
