Samsung G2 Ext HDD So Slow

Hello all.

I'm having a problem regarding to my Samsung G2 Portable External HDD 500gb.

It's writing speed is extremely slow now, around 500kb-1mbps only data transfer rate when transfer from PC > external. (or this is normal? but i think not.lol)

I tried to format it, but it took 2 hours just for 1% (maybe it'll take 8 days to finish it). So I tried to quick format, and nothing change, still slow.

Is the write head defective?

Or something related to disk write cache (Samsung G2 can't have its disk write cache modified from default setting, and I wonder whether I got one with this feature set wrongly).

Hopefully someone can give me the best solution.

Applying thermal paste

hello..my laptop seems overheated lately and I think I should clean the fan..

but do i need to replace the thermal paste? coz i bought my lappy just a year ago..(not sure whether it must be replace or not.haha)

and what kind of thermal paste recommended for me to use n the price..

and also how about air compressor spray? is it compulsory?

I want to link my blogger link to my another web page. but how ?

example:

when I enter my blog link : www._____.blogspot.com, it will automatically redirect to www._____.com.

and also if can, can the link stay (www.____.blogspot.com), but it also will automatically redirect to www.___.com but not change the link, just change the page..

if can, please tell me how to !! thnx
