[WTS] Zoom G3 v2 (USED)

I'm selling my 8 months old Zoom G3 that I bought in July (I think) last year at CK Music. It's upgraded to v2 so you can use up to 6 pedals simultaneously on a patch. Reason I'm selling this is because I'm not using it anymore and I'm short on cash.

Overview: It's working perfectly, minor scratches on the screen (wear and tear causes), buttons are functioning, LCD displays are all working, all inputs, outputs, power input (basically everything on the back panel) is working. It's been on stage quite a few times so it has seen some good use but it will definitely serve more.

Warranty: See below

Things not included: The Cubase LE software that came with it has been used so I'm not including it in this sale.

The manual
The original box packaging to house everything in
A USB cable to connect to your computer (previously not included, you're welcome!)

I'll sell the unit as is, you can perform a factory reset if needed. My price is RM350 for everything I've listed, I don't mind nego-ing it but not too much.

[WTS] VOX Stomplab 1G (Used)

I've got an 8 months old VOX Stomplab 1G (pix) that I bought in December last year at CK Music. Reason I'm selling this is because I'm upgrading to better equipment.

Overview: It's working perfectly, minor scratches on the back (wear and tear causes), knobs are still in place, LED is working, jacks are still great and the stomp buttons are working. It's got a sticker put on the side, I hope you guys don't mind . I'd say it's 9.5/10, see to believe.

Warranty: It's still got warranty until December this year, so if you grab it by then, it should be fine.

The batteries that comes with the box (I didn't notice that VOX gave me free batteries, I only found out a couple of weeks ago!)

N/B: ON the receipt, you will notice that I bought an adapter to go with the pedal. Sadly, it went missing during one of my shows...

Also, I'm selling my Behringer Vintage Delay (pix) for RM50, it's been collecting dust in my wardrobe and I thought a new owner might give it some more shine. I've just put in some brand new batteries too! Courtesy of yours truly

PM is best (and quickest), but I'll check the thread from time to time. I only do COD, Monday - Friday on Kelana Jaya LRT line, any station is fine.

read string without gets

Hey guys,

I'm stuck at a pretty big rock here. I wanna read a string in C and use a recursive function to reverse it. But how in the hell do you read a string literal with scanf? If you're wondering what I mean refer to the code. I'm not allowed to use gets() so it's a bit hectic...:

Now, I know when I input the string I can only get the first word but how do I scanf a whole string including whitespace without using gets()?

Any ideas?

Affordable MIDI controller

Hey guys, any of you know an affordable MIDI controller that I can get somewhere in KL? I'm looking for something simple, nothing too complicated like KORGs just some keys with pitch bend, sustain and the simple controls. I'm using Mixcraft btw, I dunno if I can actually use n external MIDI controller. It has one built in but it sucks so yea.

Can anyone name a brand and price?

Hey guys, recently I've accomplished the training for Neil Zaza's "I'm Alright". I was wondering if there's another like I'm Alright which is not too hard but not too easy to play. I mean I reckon a 4-year autodidact on guitar would put I'm Alright on intermediate but depends on personal view.

So anybody recommend a good instrumental song to practice? I've grown a liking towards Vai, Satch and Petrucci and I'm prolly gonna work on Glasgow Kiss which could take me a lot longer than I'm Alright but you know, just to share with everyone

Maple Neck Telecaster

Okay, I've gotten a bit crazy this past few weeks jamming Heavy Metal like there's no tomorrow with my buddies and I thought I'd wanna chill cuz it's only my first month of summer. So I was browsing Youtube and re-lived my love for blues which I once appreciated 3 years ago. Yeah, the simple riffs and Pentatonic solos, those stuff.

SO anyway, apart from the jibber-jabber I decided to get myself a telecaster. Don't ask why, I just want to. Due to my curiosity in teles and the beau maple necks, I looked at Squiers but the only really affordable one is the Affinity which to me is under par (To be honest I just read the Fender/Squier brochure and the prices for them Fender/Squiers are above the roof).

Can anyone recommend a non-Fender/Squier Tele that has maple necks? Oh yeah I also want it to have the two single coils to get that twang

Anyone?

Unrelated note: I'm actually currently in Indonesia and went to MG Music, the 'Bently of Indonesia' as you could say it. And I had my hands on a Charvel. I practically melted

Buying a Nintendo DS

Hey guys, I'm just starting out with summer and I'm already bored as hell. I decided to try out what seems to be the coolest console around: Nintendo DS. Anyways I had a Gameboy Color back when I was 8. Skipped GBA for no reason but now I wanna jump into NDS. So:

1) What's the cheapest? There's NDSLite, NDSi, NDSiXL, N3DS. Mind-boggling. But what's value for money?
2) Where in KL can I find an authorised seller. Now I've been tricked before and don't want this to happen again. Any tips for determining the 'originality' of an NDS if I bought it in Lowyat or some small gamestore?
3) What's the best games you guys can recommend. I don't want to play all summer long so just list me what you think is best and the game that appears most is the one.. I guess
4) Technical details? Can NDS go into a comp? Battery life? Battery change? CD/Cartridge?

After inserting some information from the form page all I get is the echo message in the case switch but no values are actually input into the database. When I did the die(mysql_error()) function in the case switch it says:

Unknown column '*name*' in 'field list

Where *name* is whoever's name they input in the previous form. Any help would be useful. It's not urgent, it's just getting on my nerves

hey, guys first timer here, just wanna say hi. anyways, any of u know a place around kajang to do guitar setup for intonation, neck bow, electronics etc, cuz i kinda need a pretty good setup for my new ibanez GAX30 (the fret buzzez like crap).

i know there's yamaha upstairs in metro kajang but i dunno if they'll attend an ibanez or do complex stuffs. ideas??
