Can Atom N280 Netbook PC watch MKV and RMVB Files?

optimus_prime — Tue, 10 Nov 2009 08:47:39 +0800

Anyone that owns a netbook PC with the Atom processor can comment on MKV and RMVB media files for playback?

Does it work (Full screen) without stuttering? Any slowdown etc?
Can it view HD files from youtube?

Thanks

House External Water Filter

optimus_prime — Sat, 02 Aug 2008 20:24:48 +0800

Anyone here bought any external water filters (canister type) stainless stell or fibreglass have any comments?

Looked at Waterboss.com.my Filter first and Bacfree. Any thoughts on those brands? Seen the Diamond Master Filter and it doesnt look good - canvas filter need to wash manually.

Streamyx 1MB Line

optimus_prime — Wed, 18 Jun 2008 12:29:17 +0800

Is the streamyx 1MB line worth it?

The RM66 package only gives around 60K for international.
Anyone that has it can you comment and tell what are the download speeds for international sites?

Also, if you upgrade Streamyx wants a 1 year subscription for the upgrade. Is this true?

Aquarium Water Change Deaths...

optimus_prime — Sun, 13 Aug 2006 12:52:09 +0800

Has anyone experienced their entire fish stock getting wiped out due to a water change? Goes like this, water changes are done every week. Then after 3 months, the next water change carried out as usual wipes out the entire aquarium.

Any ideas what sorta chemicals get put into the water supply by SYABAS (Syarikat Bekalan Air)? Anti Chroline gets used each time. Is it just a matter of adding in more or do we have to test for some other additives?
