Paypal payments in Euro

Anyone here ever tried making Paypal payments in Euro from their Maybank debit card? Did you have any trouble? I can't seem to complete the transaction. Can't find any help on Paypal or online either. I can do USD transactions but this is the 1st time paying in Euros, so I'm wondering if currency is the problem.

Unifi bill getting higher every month

Not sure if anyone else is experiencing this. I signed up with the VIP5 package, and I used to be billed around RM149.00 every month. Sometimes it fluctuates but it's usually around 149.

November 2012, my bill was RM149.05.
December 2012, it was RM149.10.
This month, it's RM150.90.

If anyone knows why, let me know? I would appreciate not having to call up customer service to ask.

Thanks!
Expiry period for driving licence

Anyone here knows whether they add on the renewal validity period on your driving licence from the date of expiry or from the date of renewal?

For example, if your licence expires on 1 Jan 2013 and you renew on 20 Dec 2012 - does that mean your licence will expire on 31 Dec 2017 or 19 Dec 2017 (5 yrs validity)?

Serious answers only please. If you don't know or can't understand the question, it's OK, just click away. Thanks.

YES 4g users - what plan are you on?

Yes4g users! What plan are you on? How many days can you usually go before you hit your quota?

I'm asking because I'm a new subscriber and I hit my 1G quota in 3 days even though I considered my usage low.

I wrote to YesCare and they just said my usage is valid and this:
"Example of high amount of data usage will be if you were downloading or buffering videos or browse couple of site in the same time."

I watched probably 5 Youtube videos in total (just to test the speed) and mostly was just surfing/googling. So I was a little more than surprised when I got the 80% warning less than 3 days after subscribing, and the 100% warning 15 minutes after receiving the 1st alert!

Anyway I just want to know what other people have experienced.

Celcom broadband opens multiple tabs in browser

Hi all,

This is not so much a problem than an annoyance. This only started recently (about a month ago -- everything was fine before). I'm using the Celcom broadband dongle. On connecting, it automatically starts my browser and opens several tabs of Celcom ads.

Is anyone experiencing anything similar?

I was on OSX 10.4.9 (snow leopard) when this started happening. I'm now on OSX 10.8 (mountain lion) and this is still happening.

If anyone knows how to fix this, please let me know!! Thanks

Wifi suddenly "limited connectivity"

Hi, hoping someone will be able to shed some light on my odd problem.

I didn't have any problems connecting to this network (let's call it Network 1). Then I had some internet problems at home (Network 2) and messed around with some of my internet settings. Turns out there was nothing wrong with the settings. My home equipment was not working properly. So I bought new equipment and everything is okay with Network 2. I can connect to other public networks too.

But I now can't connect to Network 1. I've tried everything -- deleting from my list of known networks and re-adding it (several times) but it still won't work. It just says "limited connectivity" but there's NO internet connection whatsoever. I have checked & rechecked the settings and it seems to be okay.

Any idea what could have gone wrong?

Japanese language classes

I'm looking for a good Japanese teacher, preferably in Klang. So far I have checked out 2 language schools here that offer Japanese. The fees are really high and I don't find them to be professional. I observed one lesson and I was a bit disappointed with the quality.

Anyone here has a recommendation? Whether it's a school or a private class.

Thanks.
