hi all.. i would like to seek for advises and opinions from the humble lyn-ians here..

I would further my studies to MBA soon and im in need of financial aids... I know PTPTN is also applicable to Master course as well but the chances of getting approved would be very low cuz I applied for my degree once (not sure if they'll reconsider my application or not )

that left me me no choice with only EPF withdrawal or Banks Loan...

EPF withdrawal for now is impossible to cover the fees as I just started working 2 years ago...

So do u guys know which banks currently offer study/education loan? I did some research and it says CIMB, UOB (no more?) and RHB (link not found anymore)

CPU refused to start up!

[ Guys... my cpu won't start up anymore after like 2 months plus didn't on it because my house was under heavy renovation... I also tried to clean the inches of dust inside too before setting up everything again but sigh... it failed to start up!!

I unplugged and took out all other cards (graphic, LAN card .. etc etc) and tried to troubleshoot the issue but to no avail, it just won't start up! The LEDs on the mobo lighted up for 1 second maybe then it turned off... I tried many times still failed

What could be the problem??? Heatsink ( I just changed!!! ).. mobo or the PSU? because when I just had the main power plug (izzit 24 pins plug?) plugged in without the smaller plug (4 pins) plugged in.. it started up... the proc fan is spinning.. but not until I plugged back the 4 pins one which I assume its the power supply to the proc?

Please help guys

Currently I am looking into a part time MBA course. Previously I was a BIS student in UCSI and I would like to expose more to other Universities instead of going back to UCSI for the master course. Is there any good Unis/College around klang valley which is relatively affordable and offers scholarship? Preferably Klang Valley area as I am also working as a software developer role now in a IT company..

IBM vs NorthGateArinso

Hello guys.. I hope to get some advices from you guys and from the people who are working in these two companies IBM Telco team (in uptown) and NorthGateArinso (NGA) team.. I have been offered by these 2 companies and I need to give them an answer by next Monday which I don't know which one to really go for..

I am fresh grad here and did my intern in a norway's company as a QA engineer (software tester).. NGA offers me as a Associate Tester but focus more onto functionality of those products and provide trainings and sending their staff for certification exams for FOC but of cos their requirement is bonding with them.. while on the hand, IBM offers me Project Management post where I have to manage the projects and make sure everything goes well as planned (this could be quite stressful) ..

In terms of renumeration, IBM is better as they have this extra 1 month wage by end of the year every month and they do provide performance bonuses where as for NGA is a fixed pay but the learning curve is there. From what they explained, there are different areas to focus on, can be on management, testing and coding. (yes, i'd need to test on those if i accept the offer) and could excel if i'm really good at it (which i'm not so sure )

Sigh... seriously, im kinda attracted to NGA's offer but at the back of my head, IBM IBM IBM keeps playing around.. saying hey, its IBM man.. be blue.. so I just wish to find out, how does the environment like in IBM.. in terms of benefits, workload, etc etc and also, if possible.. feedbacks from arinso-ians too..

P.S: Working NGA would be touching on SAP products but again, bonding is there..

LAN problem in Windows 7

As mentioned above, I just upgraded to Windows 7 yesterday using my Desktop..

In my desktop, I have two Ethernet card (one onboard, one PCI slot)

So here's a problem, sometimes surf internet half way, the connection icon will show an exclaimation mark stated that no internet access (means local only) but i've checked using my notebook.. the modem has connected to the internet... what i have to do is to disable and enable my LAN card only it can work..

The same goes with my 2nd Ethernet card... It also happened when my cpu wakes up from its hibernation..

Is this a common issue or I'm the only one facing it? Please help

P.S: All drivers I checked is installed and compatible with this OS.. but i'm just wondering why need to disable and enable so many times in a day to solve it?

I've opened a thread before asking how to do timetable but then its impossible to do based on my university existing system... (messy and even my supervisor cant solve it) .. therefore he suggested me to do mobile CRM..

but the thing is that, i'm totally new to .net compact framework (netcf)

and alsi, i'm wondering how do i extract info from the exiting contacts in the windows mobile built-in database??

is there a way?? i'm freaking out here coz i'm a BIS student, but dealing with such technical system coz my supervisor is very technical...

mobile CRM, izzit hard to do? Heard my friends said its a hot software nw in the market..

erm well, its for my FYP ... currently i'm planning to use PHP but i'm nt too sure yet as title is nt confirmed with my supervisor..

hmmm... i wanna do a timetable for my uni.. where's it's able to PREDICT what the students wil take in that semester...

how many will take and also, allocation of classrooms that are sufficient for the number of students for the subjects...

the prediction part seems confusing and hard... how to predict?? can someone pls enlighten me...

ps: can i know who's from INTI uni coll?? I heard that they do hav such similar system.. hmmm

hey talented and smart si-fu...

i alw leave my pc on for downloading purposes... yesterday suddenly i cant hav my monitor display anything eventhough i've 'waken' my cpu up from its hibernation... usually it works very fast but last night it didn't.. so i restarted and stuff... cpu did beep to indicate its running but my monitor still nw showing anything.. then i leave it for awhile to bathe... come back only wanted to fix.. but surprisingly.. it displayed... so i just used it and again, off the monitor for the night to sleep...

today, it happened again.. the monitor couldnt display anything.. so i decided to do a massive clean up as it know there muz be either heat or smtg muz hav gone wrong... i cleaned everything up... my gc.. i took out and cleaned.. and i re-slot it (i hav SLI mobo) ... everything went well again and i was happy that it displays once i start up...

and then i left it to hibernate again, and this time... it takes like 10 seconds to display.. ermmm i wonder what's wrong... izzit my gc going to die??

current temperate for my gc is around 83 - 85 C.. izzit too hot??? hmm

sorry, im noob.. im a girl.. trying to fix everything myself... dowan to waste money

Multiple Panels Problems

Hi there gurus/sifus..

as being mentioned in the title.. i've having a huge problem on having multiple panels on the same location.. it's on top of each other.. lets say i've 4 of them.. i want to make it like a webpage's design with the navigation bar at the side and so on (juz a prototype) .. but when a button is pressed, some wil appear but some wont appear.. eventhough i've set it to panel1.visible = true, the rest of the panel2,3,4 i set it to false..

how can i solve this problem?

Wifi, touch screen, 5mp with autofocus + xenon flash (if possible) and the screen mustn't be too small..

Im looking into Nokia n82, SE W960i and SE G900..

SE g900 seems not a bad one to me.. but i see the screen is abit too small for a touch screen phone.. its with 5mp too but not with xenon..

n82.. my bro has one.. played with it.. everything's good but.. no touch screen.. and its abit bulky for a girl

w960i cool... but the specs... sigh..

Guys... I need advice and help on how to fix this computer to run only 2 core instead of depending one proc only.... Bought this new set of pc yesterday to replace the new one (which couldnt boot anymore)... Everything was fixed back then by the PC Zone ppl... brought it back... installed OS and stuffs.. found out that the task manager only shows 1 Graph...

Tried many ways by googled it still cant... went to bios already but everything's enabled...BTW, the specs of the cpu is below

Proc = Intel Core 2 Duo E4600 (2.4ghz)
Mobo = Asus P5KPL
Ram = DDR2 2GB

Errmm... I think I might be asking silly question here hehe.. but I would really need to know the best opinions from you sifus out there Currently I'm using a XFX 6600 GT (specs here and I would like to consider myself not a gamer at all I also dunno why last time I bought this GC :S my ex chose it for me... so now, I have to change to exchange a GC with my uncle's new pc... he's not a gamer as well.. so Colourful 8500 DDR3 256MB is chosen... so the problem is... which GC is better interms of quality? Even the brand also... 'colourful' hmm.. not so well-known I guess... guys help me to decide... Thanks

Hey guys... I seriously need some help here... my mom's fren asked me to upgrade its components to the computer.. its a quite old rig edi... coz its p4 2.4ghz if im not mistaken... and then on the way back that time.. my mum accidentally miss the hump.. so the computer i dunno what.. kena affected or not.. then today i placed in the new hdd and ram.. the cpu cannot be turned on... the power is on.. fan's moving but it didnt have anything.. not even a beep sound.. izzit the proc problem??

Hmm well.. I'm not sure whether mine would be the same case as others but it's so weird and pissing off that the light that is indicating adsl keeps blinking... well it means that it cant establish a stable connection thus... i cant get the thing connect to the internet!! I just bought this last sat and am thinking of going back to get 1 to 1 exchange asap as today its ngam ngam the 7th day... but before I do so... what's causing this? Izzit the belkin faulty or my line got problem because I had dlink/aztech modem tested the line... its stable and right now, i'm connected to dlink to type this.. no problem at all!!!!

Previously, i had also bought 2 units of this model and had it installed in my uncle's/aunty's house and theirs not giving them any problem... and i'm sure the settings all are correct as i've fixed this before.. so tell me? What can I do for now?? Really got to go for the exchange 1 to 1 thingy??

It's very important to me coz i'm doing an ordering system.. so when a customer finished ordering already, the worker's side has to be updated with the latest entries...
