SAM or Straight to New Zealand

I had just finish my SPM and now waiting for my result. I am planning to take SAM here in Malaysia then either go to either New Zealand or Australia for my future studies. But I heard that I will have better chance of getting in to better universities if I go straight to New Zealand after getting my result, Is it true ?

Problem details
First occurence of problem: few days ago
Problem frequency: never been better
Problem description:

My modem used to connect to a tower near my house which will give me decent speed.
But after I accidentally change the band config in MDMA, it never connect to that tower any more (yes i did change back to automatic).
I am often connected to a tower far away which gives me terrible speed and sometimes even no internet.

Anyone encountered this problem before ?

Need help on studies after Form 5

Hi guys, I am currently form 5, and I am having problem on deciding on continuing my studies.

I have a clear vision on what type of job I am going to do in the future, but I have not decide on what job to do as I have no idea what job are they out there.

Besides that, I have no idea what courses should I take, I had heard before SAM, foundation, diploma etc.
but I have no idea what are those.

All helps are appreciated.

I saw my friend using Maxis SKMM and i am kinda interested because it is cheap and my area is Maxis area, so i can actually get good speed here.

but my friend say the speed is capped to 3.6 Mbps, is it true?
