The Tesla Model 3 Standard RWD is officially priced starting from RM147,600 before extra options. This makes it RM21,400 cheaper than the Model 3 ‘Premium’ RWD. With this variant introduction, the previous non-Performance Model 3 variants are now labeled as “Premium”.

The Standard RWD model has slightly more WLTP-rated range at 534km (Premium RWD: 520km) but its 0-100km/h acceleration time is slowly only slightly at 6.2 seconds (Premium RWD: 6.1 seconds). The top-speed remains unchanged at 201km/h.

Here’s the pricing for the current Model 3 Lineup in Malaysia:

Model 3 Standard RWD – RM147,600
Model 3 Premium RWD – RM169,000
Model 3 Premium Long Range RWD – RM185,000
Model 3 Premium Long Range AWD – RM199,000
Model 3 Performance AWD – RM229,000

However, the good news is that Malaysian consumers can still enjoy the same ADAS features as the “premium” Model 3. Unlike what was offered in the US, Basic Autopilot which also includes Auto Steer is included as standard. On top of that, users can still get the flexibility to add the Enhanced Auto Pilot package which includes Autopark for RM16,000.

For the full Self-Driving capability, you can also add-on the option for RM32,000.

PETALING JAYA: Highway users will receive a 50% discount for tolls on highways nationwide from 12.01 am on Jan 27 until 11.59pm on Jan 28 in conjunction with Chinese New Year celebrations, says Datuk Seri Alexander Nanta Linggi.

The Works Minister said the 50% discount from the normal toll rate will be implemented for Class One (private vehicles) only.

“The exemption will implemented at all toll plazas except toll plazas at the national borders, namely the Sultan Iskandar Building (BSI) Toll Plaza on the North-South Expressway (PLUS) and the Tanjung Kupang Toll Plaza on the Second Route of the Malaysia-Singapore Expressway (LINKEDUA)," he said in a statement Friday (Jan 24).

PUTRAJAYA: MySejahtera check-ins could be removed in a month or so, depending on the Covid-19 infection trend after Malaysia's reopening on April 1.

"We want to see first after the country opens its borders to travellers as well as remove Covid-19 restrictions this April 1.

"We also have the fasting month coming up. If there are no significant changes to mobility and infection patterns, we can drop mobile check-ins. This is in a month or so," said Health Minister Khairy Jamaluddin to reporters.

He was responding to a statement issued by the Malaysian Medical Association (MMA) which called for MySejahtera check-ins to be scrapped, with Malaysia about to transition into the endemic phase.

As title, my pc cant boot up after no electricity for 1 hour

I unplugged power cable for 10 minute but still the same. There is light on my motherboard when i power on but fans not spinning

PUTRAJAYA: Malaysia were nine days too late in acting on the Masjid Jamek Sri Petaling tabligh congregation, which is responsible for close to 40% of the country’s 5,851 Covid-19 infections.

Health director-general Datuk Dr Noor Hisham Abdullah said the ministry had only known about the gathering on March 9 when a participant from Brunei tested positive for the virus.

“I was only informed by my Brunei counterpart about the gathering on the night of March 9, so we acted nine days too late.

"The participants by then had already returned to their hometowns, villages and subdistricts, ” he said at the ministry’s daily Covid-19 press conference here on Tuesday (April 28).

Dr Hisham said this after he was asked to comment on Thailand’s Covid-19 figures, which had shown consecutive single digits in its daily new cases.

“It's true that Thailand has a bigger population than Malaysia, but fewer cases than us.

“But they did not have a large tabligh gathering of 16,000 people in their country.

“I'm sure if we did not have this gathering, our cases would be less than Thailand’s. The tabligh gathering is responsible for close to 40% of our total cases, ” said Dr Noor Hisham.

On Tuesday, Thailand recorded seven new Covid-19 cases - the second day of single digits in its cases - bringing the country’s cumulative tally to 2,938.

The Masjid Jamek Sri Petaling tabligh gathering was held from Feb 28 to March 1.

A total of 2,155 people related to the Sri Petaling tabligh cluster have tested positive for Covid-19.

So far, the ministry has tested 32,122 individuals under the cluster.

Despite the challenges involved, Dr Hisham said the ministry had so far managed to keep the spread of the virus under control.

He added that the country was now moving towards recovery and was hoping to record single digits by the middle of May.

“We can achieve single digits but this requires every single Malaysian embracing the new norms.

“If there is no necessity to go out, stay at home.

"That is the safest thing you can do, and you will prevent the transmission of the virus from one person to another, ” he said.\
