Nvidia GPU on 144hz Freesync

As per title,

I will be having an upgrade to both my GPU and Monitor soon,

I was planning to go with RX 580 and pair it with the Acer ED27a 144hz Freesync monitor, it would be a perfect match made in heaven.

However, I was wondering, what if instead I went with GTX 1070ti and pair it with the 144hz Freesync monitor, what would happen?

Question:

1. What if my FPS is lower than my Refresh rate, since I can't use Freesync with Nvidia GPU, how will the output be? Assuming my average FPS is 90 - 100.

2. How about stutter and screen tearing? How bad is it, or, is there any?

*I know GSync exist, but I don't plan to spend a premium on GSync, the price just don't make sense to me.

Reccommend PSU

My PC build from 2014 was working fine, but recently its showing its age (PSU) having not enough juice to power up my PC; only able to start the pc, but wont even boot or post bios.

Pc specs are as below:
- AMD FX 6300
- Kingston Fury 8gb
- Sapphire R9 270x 4gb
- Gigabyte 970a DS3P
- Cooler Master Seidon
- PSU Cooler Master Thunder M 620w

It is only recent that i discovered online that my current Psu is deemed unreliable for long term usage, especially for gaming, the tier level is just not good enough, and the efficiency delivered is questionable.

So I am currently in search for a psu replacement, but now knowing which brand and model to go for.
Online discussion with tomshardware suggest that i avoid using cooler master, as its not the best psu out there.

So in need of help for bang for bucks psu, 650 would be the max watt, and preferably under RM 250.
What would be the best?

Pc powers up but wont boot

I recently moved to a different home, bringing along my pc as its the only entertainment that i have.
Pc worked flawlessly, right until i plugged it in my new home.

After plugging everything in, and powering the pc up, the pc does power up, fan starts to spin, but it wont boot, monitor displays nothing (blank), clicking te reset button dont do anything, and long pressing the power button does not shut the pc down.

I have even tried to troubleshoot by removing the RAM, GPU, but the result is still the same, i did not receive anything error beep, only the pc powering up but no boot/beep.

I have checked around the web for solutin to this problem, some have suggested to reset my CMOS, and i did, but its still the same. I was wondering if it has anything to do with the power supply/socket from my new home, because there are times where i unplugged the power by force to shut my pc down, the next run it wont power up at all, thus resulting in yanking cables here and there in order to get it to power up.

My new home uses new fuse and db for the power inlet, because i have 3 a/c installed. Is it because of insufficient power supply to my pc?

Pc uses 970a ds3p gigabyte mb
Cm thunder n 500w psu.

I have tried to setup my company email on it, and it worked fine.
However, when i try to setup gmail (using my Google ID and Password), it says that my ID and Password is incorrect, and I need to contact Google.
And yes, I have already allow connection from less secure apps using Google.

*edited* Is there any possible way to turn off the annoying beeping/alert sound when I dial *100# or any operator service?

Appreciate the kind assistance from the pro BB user in Lowyat forum to assist me on this matter.

TQ
JSJ

[WTA] Price for iMac 21.5 3rd Gen

I have an Apple iMac 21.5, Intel Quad Core I5, 2.5 Ghz, 8GB Ram (Radeon HD 6750M)
I am planning to sell it, but am not aware of the selling price for this particular model.
Reason for selling the iMac is due to not using it much, aside from watching movies and youtube.

I am only ready to sell this iMac once I have a confirmed buyer (also the selling price of this model)
It also comes with the Wireless keyboard (mini), and Magic Mouse.

I will be uploading pictures once I got back in time to snap a few.

Preferred location for COD: Kuala Lumpur, Gombak, Bandar Sri Damansara (and other Damansara areas), Wangsa Maju.

[WTT]Wireless keyboard to Wired keyboard

I'm looking for anyone who is interested to make a trade/clean swap with my Apple 2011 Wireless keyboard (2 batteries) with a Standard full length Apple Wired Keyboard.

Preferably location in Ipoh.

My wireless keyboard used but still looks new as i hardly uses it. The reason i got this keyboard is because apple stores in ipoh says that its going to take sometime to get my iMac with a wired keyboard, since they have to re-order another one. That's why i went with the wireless and not waiting.

I'll have my picture of the keyboard upload. But it's a guarantee that the keyboard is still new, and shiny and all.
Besides, it's Apple

Pictures: Will upload soon.

Update the catalog

I would appreciate it that the catalog in the Lowyat.net main page is updated (as it is suppose to; Every Monday).
I noticed that some the products shown are out of date for almost 2 years.
The nice example for it would be the so called 'New iMac' shown in it. iMac's are now rolling in a 512 6 series ATI card, not the old 256.
And the price would confuse users since the iMac shown in the Official Apple store is priced @ RM 3799, not RM 3899.
That is just one obvious example that can be spotted easily (by me)
I hope the catalog is updated monthly if not weekly, and since people are visiting Lowyat.net for prices and info, it is better that the info is up-to-date and precise.

TP-LINK TDW8951ND

I have recently bought a Wireless N router (model and brand stated in topic title)
The problem I'm currently having is the random disconnection of ADSL/INTERNET, WAN and LAN.
I have 2 other modems currently at hand besides the TP-LINK (a D-LINK an a innacom modem provided by TM). Other modem works just fine, except this TP-LINK.

The firmware is already updated to the latest, and the problem still persist.
I hope there are someone who can help me with this.

DiGi Iphone plan

I've notice the newly launched DiGi Iphone plan for subscribers.
The lowers monthly commitment for the Iphone, is Iphone 3Gs 16GB, for RM 106.

So, can someone actually clarify me with this.
Monthly commitment is RM 106, this will include my calls, sms, and so on, right? Any excess usage of over RM 106 is added later.
Or, is it RM 106 for monthly payment, but for the calls and sms, it's a different story. In meaning, RM 106(iphone commitment) + (calls, sms, etc)
