KL to Penang Traffic Bai Tian Gong

Hi /k,

My gf's family wants to go to Penang for Bai Tian Gong this year.

Naturally I'll have to help to drive there from KL, so just wanna know what's the worst jam record you've been in for Bai Tian Gong to Penang before this.

This is really my first time driving to Penang for Bai Tian Gong. And the worst part is, my gf may not be able to get leave on that day (a Saturday, btw) so we're probably very likely going to depart at 3pm latest.

How long you reckon I'd be stuck in traffic?

Gf got her leave, left house at 8.45am, stopped at Tanjung Malim for breakfast and coffee, and drove to Penang straight. Reached island at 2.30-ish no jams smooth sailing.

Yesterday back to KL also smooth sailing, just the usual jam as a result of an accident.

Maybe Wuhan virus helping ease the traffic.

Met someone from CMB dating app, she's all that I'm looking for, beautiful (in my books), intelligent, kind, well read, and we clicked almost instantaneously. Went on a first date with her last weekend, proceeded to chat some more.

For the past 2 days, I noticed her attitude towards me changed drastically, realized something was wrong. Still attempted to play it cool, finally got to confront her today via WhatsApp and asked her what's wrong.

She played the "nice guy" card. Said that we're not suitable for each other.

So, does that mean I have to act like a complete jerk to get somebody to fall in love with me? What's wrong with being caring and reminding you to switch on your headlights when you're driving at night, or don't remain in the office alone late at night etc etc? I, just don't know anymore.

I know we've met like, 3 weeks ago; but I'm already in too deep. Got nowhere to ramble and so resorted to rambling here. Now my rambling is finished.

Let the flaming game begin...

Edit: I'm done feeling sorry for myself. I've realize what a fool I've made myself to be by saying those things, it's been a long standing weakness of mine.

What I'd like to know now is do you think I still stand a chance? I want to present the best side of myself, the normalize side..

UoL LLB Law Part Time Course

Hi Lowyat,

So, I am an Engineering degree grad currently thinking about studying LLB part time. Currently am considering 3 different places:

1) ATC

2) BAC

3) KDU (Edit: KDU contacted me in light of my request. Apparently, KDU does not offer LLB courses part time. What a bummer, KDU's the only university / college not in the heart of KL.)

Which university/college should I take up the course on? Anybody here experienced studying part time in either of the universities/colleges?

Any tips or feedback are very much welcomed.

Just wanted to ask anybody know of any hobby shops which sell car model kits? I am staying in KL and have travelled many places trying to find a shop which sells car model kits.

So far the ones that I know of are one in Atria shopping mall and another in Times Square.

Anyone know of any other shops selling it?

For low budget laptop of around 2K is Lenovo a good brand? Good in terms of reliability and after sales service. For moderate gaming and engineering studies usage. And since we're on the topic, have anybody heard of the problem with AMD Radeon graphic cards overheating? The card in question is the AMD Radeon HD 6470M. Thanks for your precious information in advance.
