Is it possible to get Archer C1200 router to 'wirelessly' connect to hyppTV?

My router is installed at 2nd flour and living room is downstair. I tried powerline plugs but it didn't work in my house, unlucky.

I do not want to use 20M LAN cable so can it be done wireless?

I read some tutorial using port binding LAN4 to new wifi SSID but this feature seems missing in the router menu.

Please advice. Thanks in advance.

anyone bought thgs from oversea b4? this is my 1st time using taobao collective delivery (4px)
My item aldy reach local courier centre few days ago. Planning to pick up today but they told me it been shipped back to KL cause kastam request to check if the item can tax or not. I confused, shdn't the kastam check n clear it b4 handed to courier company? The customers service said it happened all the time, kastam might miss some parcel and ask them sent it back, same with other courier company. true?

the local courier is airpak, my item bill is around rm200. anyone face this problem b4?

I'm planning to get a new casing soon, still on survey progress. Now I got my eye on Silverstone RL04B. The case comes with only two front panel USB 3.0, however my aged motherboard doesn't have expansion for USB 3.0, it only has USB 3.0 on the rear I/O panel. So the question is that, can the the wire of front panel USB 3.0 connect to my motherboard USB 2.0 expansion header?

Date of transaction: never bank in to him after i do a little google.

Details of the complaint : This guy is a scammer on record, moderator please do smthing b4 other people falling into his trap.

PM him about the harddisk, ask him where did he buy, and ask him to show me the receipt.
He can't even mention a shop name, only say from lowyat store, thn receipt will send to me with the box.
I smell smthing suspicious about it. After that, i offer RM200 included postage to my place. expect him raise to RM210 but no he didn't, he straightly accept my deal and ask for my handphone so he could sms me the bank in detail.
I suspect this is a scammer case, he send me his bank account and i do a little research on google. WOOLA!!!!

Cooler Cable broken

Recently bought a used graphic card Asus 5850 from a forumer. He use a custom cooler for this gc, he said the stock cooler can't handle the heat.

Just receive the card. Found out that this custom cooler fan require a 2 pin slot, but the GC provided 4 pin slot for the cooler.
So the previous owner use a 2 pin to molex converter to power the fan.

Plug everything and found out the custom cooler fan isn't spinning. So i check the cable. Found out that the cable is almost broken. In the proses of examine the cable, it broke into half...

how to fix this type of cable? search on google but donno what the correct term for this kind of cable.

Which free to play game do you recommended besides team fortress 2? In term of gameplay, number of server and player availability, and playable and able to enjoy the game without the need to buy extra content from it.

Phone: HD2 flashed to NexusHD JellyBean NativeSD version

OMG, need help. I put my phone on the table while playing badminton with fren this morning. Thn a kid came and play my phone.
My phone have the pattern lock, so she continues to play until my phone is locked because too many pattern attempt.

Now the only way to unlock my phone is to login to my google account. The problem is that I didn't have data and wifi turned on. And I cant turn it on now cause the phone is locked.

I search through the internet and found a solution. Using adb to copy setting.db and edit the wifi on value. However here is the biggest problem.

My phone have 2 rom. One is NativeSD and another at nand. If i use the directory in the tutorial, I will edit settings.db in nand. But I want to save the rom on my NativeSD not nand.

So Anyone can figure out for me the path for settings.db in nativeSD?

Currently the path for nand is
data/data/com.android.providers.settings/databases/settings.db

what is the nativesd version of it?

My current setting:

ISP: TMNET 1mbps
ADSL modem: D-link DSL-504T
Wifi Router:Netgear WGR614V9 router G
Location: Double story Terrance

Im thinking of upgrading my setting, need opinion from sifu here.

Problem 1: Fair Internet usage
1mbps is actually enough for me as I normally just suft forum, streaming video and play steam game.
However, whenever my brother is at home.
I can't do anything except sufting website that have small load.
He is a heavy gamer. If I open youtube or even load a page with lot of pictures, he will feel lag.

I found out there are no such problem in cybercafe, people youtube and FB all the time and still playing game lag free. So why is that?
I'm thinking of upgrade the internet but I think that is not the core problem.
I heard of the QoS setting of router, unfortunately my router doesn't have this function and unable to flash to ddwrt.
I haven't try this Quality of Service setting b4, so can this solve my problem? So I can youtube and my bro can play online game lag free at the same time?
I also heard that QoS setting are various based on model of router, so which router qos setting work best?

Problem 2: Transferring Speed.
Currently My PC at room upstair connect to wifi router via USB wifi adapter using the 54Mbps G standard.
I have another HTPC at living room connect to the same router using LAN cable.
I have shared file across the network between my PC and HTPC.
The problem is that when I watch movie using my HTPC from my PC shared file, the movie is very laggy.

Is this due to the limitation of 54Mbps G standard? Should I upgrade my router to 300Mbps N standard? Can this solve the problem?
Should the router include Gigabit LAN as well? cause my HTPC have gigabit LAN but currently netgear router only running at 100Mbps LAN.
If I bought 300Mpbs router with 100Mbps LAN, could this cause bottleneck for my HTPC data transfer speed?

Problem 3: Upgrading
If I need to upgrade my router, I need to upgrade my wifi adapter as well. Should I get the USB, PCI or PCI-Express version?

FULL HD question

Bought 42" full hd LED TV few months back, so decided to build a new HTPC rig for it.

However, seem like Im unable to set my resolution to full hd 1920x1080. Im using HD6670 with latest driver.
Plug to my TV with VGA cable. Now my max resolution is 1400x900. anything bigger than that will turn the screen out of place.
And I dont even have 1920x1080 choice. other choices i have are 1600x 1200...etc.

Why is that?

Computer FREEZE problem

Hi, recently Im having a computer freeze problem The whole screen just freeze, mouse cannot move, keyboard wont work (press numLock, but the light wont goes off). The only way to get out from freeze is by pressing the power/restart button.
My custom rig:

Processor: Amd AlthonX4 620
Mobo: ECS 780G Ultra
PSU: Huntkey GS 550W
GC : Gigabyte HD4850 zalman fan
HDD: WD 500GB Green
RAM: kingbox 2GB DDR2 800 X2
Other: Raidmax Smilodon casing with 4 stock fan, a Liteon dvd burner.

Extra note: This machine overall has been working for approximate 3-4 years.
Computer freeze occurred on several occasions
- playing 3D games
- watching streaming video in full screen. (dailymotion)
- open multiple video streaming websites in google chrome/firefox tab (happen mostly, Interesting thing is that when it freezes, sometimes the advertisement animation on the side of webpage still continues to move)
- cut n paste big files (6GB) from Drive C to Drive D.
- when the screen suddenly goes black (e.g1: when open an execute file, screen will goes black b4 windows will pop for admin permission) (e.g2: at the end of full screen streaming video, the screen goes black and freeze)

Things I had tried:
- cut n paste big files in safe mode = no problem
- disable my internet access = problem still occurred
- create a new windows user account = problem still occurred on new user.
- Clean and reseat my RAM = problem still occurred
- Clean and reseat my GC+6pin power = problem still occurred.

So, please help me all the sifu and master out there.

I was opening multiple tab surfing on lowyat garage sales which loading alots of picture of sales item. then suddenly it freeze, mouse and keyboard wont move. After 2 sec, the whole screen become white(this is first time it turn white).

I also noticed there are indicator b4 it freeze. The computer respond will be slower, smtime mouse will freeze like 0.1 sec. Slow appear of text after i press on keyboard.

Finally I lost my temper and patient. I scolded him on sms, calling him dishonest and give him 3 option, 1 give me tracking number, 2 refund, 3 I report police and see him in court.
He finally reply me and said that He NEVER send out the item, that why he not able to give me the tracking number. he said he got some personal issue need to settle...etc..excuse. He said his PC is still at home, he can send it to me on 11/08 or refund me on 11/08.
Since I had fed-up with this dishonest guy and left 0 trust in him. I demand a full refund of RM300. He said will bank in to me on 11/08.
