Hi All,

Need recommendation here to get a monitor. I am looking for monitor with size less than 20 inches that build in with speaker and at the same time able to plug in USB or external HDD as media player. So far, I only found Samsung T19B300AR and the website is http://www.samsung.com/my/consumer/pc-peri.../LT19B300AR/XM#.

Anyone can recommend me alternatives?

Toshiba LCD TV Problem

Hi Guys,

Just bought a Toshiba LCD 32PB10 for the bedroom. However, I am facing a problem here..

Everytime I switch the room lighting or other appliances, the LCD will flicker and the goes black for a short 1 second. After that, it will ON back again. While the screen turn off, it does not off entirely coz I still can see the grey colour on the background.

This not just in my room, after that, i tried to put another sources of power, it still the same and even I switch on something in the bathroom, the LCD will flicker off and on for s second..

Anyone have any idea with this? Is the LCD power consumption is too high? I thought my power source is overload but it still the same even I change to another power source..

It is because the LCD TV is still new? Do Toshiba practice 1 to 1 exchange since I just bought it just now?

Hope to get some help here..

Finally found out the problem..The culprit is the HDMI cable which have RFI ...Change the HDMI to a better one and the problem solved...

Hi Guys,

Wanna get a GPS to use. Would like to seek advise and opinion from member here in getting low budget GPS... I read many recommended Garmin and Papago but it is kinda over my budget... ...Saw many other brands like TenQ, Navman, OOdO, etc etc etc...

- Which CPU is better? Samsung or SIRF Atlas IV 533?
-What is the important point that we need to take note in getting a GPS??

I saw there r many brands out there and it is very hard for beginner like me to choose...

Any ideas or opinion??

Guys,

I found out about this care center from a colleague of mine and paid them a visit yesterday. I personally think that they really need help coz they are lack of support from Govt. Let me tell u a little bit about them..

SCC ( Sanctuary Care Center ) started on 15th April 2003 by Late Founder Dr. Mary. It is now taken care and supported by Mr. Mathews alone who is in the recycling line of business. Besides that, the person in charge for day to day operation is Mr.Mathews wife who is Ms. Malar. It is kinda hectic for them to take care so many kids and at the same time without any Govt or big organisation support. Both of them with some helper run the whole center. SCC have bout 40-45 children right now. Basically, they rented 2 single storey house in Air Panas and the kids stay there together with both husband and wife. Most of the children comes from very poor family with single parents or are orphans.

They are looking for volunteer who can provide tuition to the kids who is in primary school as well as secondary school. Besides that, it would be great if we can contribute something to them. Please pay them a visit if u r interested to help.

I am working out to sponsor T-shirt with their Care Center logos to them and glad if anyone can provide me contacts to print these T-shirt. If i are interested, we can work out something together with them... I personally felt that they really need our help among most of the orphanage home..

This thread also open to any suggestion which able to help them in any possible way. Please give opinions or suggestions coz I am quite a newbie when it comes to charity works...
