Microsoft Office XP running slow on Windows Vista

Hi, I am using Dell Latitude D630, 2gb ram with 2.0ghz proc and so on so forth ..

My laptop spec: CLICK HERE!

I been experienced an EXTREME slow when I working on Microsoft Office especially excel, it will hang my screen even if I press CTRL+B (to bold something) or merge/un-merge cell..

Another issue I facing was PRINT, it goes slow especially I print a PDF file from adobe acrobat reader to my printer .. it took sometimes up to 5mins to print a file n the reader will just hang/not respond ..

anyone experience the same case before? I been google around and don't seem to find an answer ..

previously was on Vista Business Premium, the lag is there but not this obvious .. pls help~~
