me ish interested in a gal

I am not too sure my post content will be appropriate here but let me just give this a shot and hopefully be able to receive comment / feedback.

In short, there's this gal that I am interestingly attracted to.
( if you are now checking my 'gender' status and when I mentioned a 'gal' I am attracted to, you can somehow guessed my sexual orientation d - no flame please )

I consider myself to be good looking and therefore, I usually don't find it hard to have people attracted to me - both guys and gals. With that said, I have never actually taken advantage of my looks to 'play play' around.

You see, throughout my growth progression, I have been able to develop quite an acute 'gay-dar' mechanism in me. Therefore, with this, I have always been able ( if not highly accurate ) when it comes to predicting and sensing other individual that are of like. So if a total gal stranger walks up to me, and my 'gay-dar' starts to tinggle, meaning there's a highly fair chance she's into gals.

This is very useful and usually a very helpful 'sense' for me to avoid unnecessary misunderstandings.

However, not with this gal that I am attracted with currently.
Somehow, my senses are not giving me any initial signs. It didn't light up 'No' or 'Yes'... it just stayed stagnant .. rather at a neutral point

so I gave up relying on my radar for her and instead took the initiative to get to know her more!

As time passed, I found out she's a much better person than what I had thought she could be. Girl with look + brain + attitude + charisma.

Surely, girl with such options should be seeing somebody by now.

So, the other day, I was skimming through her Facebook and there were hints that she is still single.
What's even better, I found out she has friends of her own that are gay.

could be a good sign that says she's fine with these sort

In class, as we get to know each other more, she started to be much more comfortable with me. We would occasionally be joking around with each other, making fun of each other, etc ( well perhaps, she could be doing this as a friendly gesture - that's what friends do anyway )
so, with no 'perasan' attitude , I continue to pursue her silently ~

However, i do sense that she's doing some of the '5 steps' art

the eye contact thingy - at times in class, when we aren't able to sit together ( rather far apart ) , i sometimes catch her taking a glimpse at me. She would look away when i caught her sight but her smiley face is still there =P

she's rather a jokester - always trying to make me laugh ,yes ( by making fun of me )

remeber the things i said - we would chat online and the next time we met, she would asked about what I had mentioned the previous time we chatted. some times i myself never remembered what I said and am surprise that she remembers

Physical contact - absolutely ... yes i do notice that she turns her direction towards me .. and she nows stayed back just to wait for my class to end so we can go back together etc.

With all this said, i am still trying not to carry the 'perasan' heart le ... trying not to keep my hopes too high - later she just treating me as friend, then I mai malu ..

wat's weird is that my 'radar' is absolutely not working for her ... i still am able to rely on my radar on others but to her, there's no sign .........
omg... i think she has sort of invisible barrier around her...

my approach is rather different to the normal guy tackle gal approach. can't walk straight up to her and show her my affection ." heya beautiful ~~ "
don't want to scare her and worst might ruin our friendship.

go easy on me guys. what are some of the 'soft approach' methods should i do ?
some moves that tells her I am interested in you more than just a friend but not too harsh as not to scare her away if she's truly not interested in this.

*finger crossed* will be meeting up her again later... time for some butteflies in stomach action again later

I am fairly new here and I do apologize if whatever I will be writing on 'offended' anyone. =)
Hope I am posting it at the right 'section'.

If you have all noticed, there's a huge increment in the number of 'tomboys' we have nowadays. Back in the years, it is quite obvious that these sort of 'culture' isn't as much obvious as we have right now.

I,myself am a tomboy - and it wasn't until 3-4 years back that I cut my hair short, and dress that way. ( *cough* it's not because I wanted to follow-on the trend but being 'guyish' had always been how I am since a little girl ) Because of the lack of exposure on 'tomboy' trend back those years, I was forced to 'fit in' and hell 'ya, I really don't feel at place.

However, being a tomboy has put me at some awkward spot ( maybe because it's Malaysia - not countries like Taiwan where tomboys are already considered a 'norm' * i suppose* )

In particular, I get 'looked' at. I don't know if they are staring out of admiration / curiosity / or plain 'confused'
Don't get me started on talking about times where I have to go pee pee in public wash rooms.

How do you all react when you see tomboys? What do you look in us? What is particularly going on in your mind?
Particularly if you are straight male/female, how do you find or will react noticing tomboys?

For girls who are attracted to girls, would you prefer being together with tomboys?
I know tomboys are usually much more attracted to long-hair fem , and likewise... or the other way round.

Currently right now, this is what I have ... might start bombing forumers with other of similar questions in case something comes into mind.
