New HRV vs used CX-5 2.5T

Hi all, need your suggestion.
I am planning to get a car, consider new HRV and used 2019 CX5 2.5T, both around my budget.

currently i do have concern on a few things in below:

1. HRV steering rack and suspension issues, not sure is latest batch still having this issue
2. Is CX5 turbo engine reliable?
3. hear say Mazda claim that no need to replace gearbox fluid, is there any issue with this?

Want to know about car loan

Hi all, i just applied car loan and get rejected.

I am self employed, just quit my day job on 2021, so my income tax for 2021 is reported as no earning
last year sales is going up and able to generate profit and recent 6 months consider my sales is stable. (turnover around 30k to 40k)
However, tax for 2023 still pending and havent submit and i found a used car that i am interested, so the salesman help me to apply under RHB and get rejected due to income tax.
While my business current account is in Maybank.

Is that possible that i can explain my situation to Maybank to get my loan approve? the amount i wish to loan is around 120k

Dear all sifu, may I know whats the income require for both property loan and car loan?
For example, if a person wish to buy a RM500k property, his income must be RM8k and above i guess.
while for car if for a car RM50k, income must be RM3k and above.

I owned a condo RM300k and currently plan to buy a car around RM100k next year. Then later on might wish to get another property may be like RM600k.
May I know with such commitment, how much of income is require to get loan?

Can any sifu let me know?

Complain to MCMC

Hi all, did anyone complain anything to MCMC before?

I am a seller in Shopee and recently Shopee forcing seller to use Shopee Xpress. Knowing that Shopee Xpress is terrible, we wish to disable it and use other courier but Shopee dont allow.
Wanna ask if i complain to MCMC how would they handle it, does anyone know here?
We have concern also if MCMC show them whose the seller complain ended up Shopee revenge and do dirty tricks to our store.

Detail of the story:
Last year we have one order under Shopee Xpress, a few item missing inside the package.
We successfully disable Shopee Xpress. Then recently Shopee curi curi enable it without asking, we complain why is it enable without informing but they keep dragging the issue.
Then now ask us submit request to remove, but reject us afterward saying missing/damage is not frequently happen (August itself lost 4 parcels and 2 damaged!!! )
Email them asking how can they just enable the Shopee Xpress without asking since it is disabled last year but they refuse to answer.
Even walk in customer telling us that Shopee Xpress is terrible.

Desktop SSD issue

Hi all sifus, good day.

I bought a desktop few years ago, using M2 SSD (Corsair)

Today when i power up my CPU, it went to BIOS setting, then i just realize CPU unable to detect the SSD, it is not shown in the BIOS
While i have another hard disk it is able to detect.

There is a history of such things happen, last time when i first bought this CPU which i assemble it myself.
The first memory is my M2 SSD, while another Hitachi HDD is connected to SATA. After few days, the Windows corrupted, then i install again. That time i realize if the Hitachi HDD connected to SATA, it will corrupt the OS after some times.
It happened few times till the SSD spoil and then I claimed warranty. But after i changed to new SSD, it works fine, so i thought just the SSD issue.

Now after 4 years of usage, the SSD spoil again. I suspect something is wrong in my desktop.
Can anyone help? And is there anyway to retrieve all the data from my spoiled SSD?

External SSD corrupted after connect to PC

Hi all sifus.
I have a external SSD (Kingston with usb type C) which will corrupted whenever i connnect to my laptop USB 3.0 port.
While if i connect my desktop USB3.0 extension, it is fine.
May I know how can i troubleshoot whats wrong between my laptop USB3.0 and my external SSD?

Hi all sifu, is there any investment is good for stable return and low risk, for example may be around 6% P.A or any rate that is good for inflation hedge and low risk (except stock).
If I am able to fork out RM500 - RM1k per month for investment lets say.

Properties is quite tough for my situation as those fees and down payment is very high.
Anyone invested in bond can give some guide? And I found out that Maybank gold trading is quite convenient but not sure whether is it good.

Any sifu here can give some guide?

Simcard modem and data plan question

Hi all, wanna ask that if I am using router/modem with sim card, the data is consider as hotspot?
Because i saw some data plan mentioned Data Plan like 10GB and 1GB hotspot, so does it means limited hotspot with 1GB?

I need to use the sim router/modem with my laptop for working purpose.

Hi all, i need to buy a kitchen hood for my house.
I am plannig to get Electrolux because this brand seems quite reliable to me, had been using their appliances for decades.
However the store sales person recommend Robam and say that it is designed for Asian, better suction power.

My concern is more on reliability and certainly dont wish taht it will break down after few years.

Anyone using Robam for more than 5 years can share your experience?
Or anyone have any advice and recommendations?

Resignation in this pandemic

Hi all, will you choose to resign in this pandemic if your job is risky, for example work with large group of workers, expose to a lot of customer.

I am thinking to resign because i have to work with technician and some times require to go to construction site.
I really worry i will bring virus back home as i am staying with my parents.
I have some savings and a part time online business but i still couldn't make up my mind yet as this moment.

Hi, i am planning to do some video and learning in videography. My DSLR is 650D

Purpose:
My video will be more to street videography. Record during traveling. Probably record inside car too.

Require light weight because will mount on gorilla pod some times.

Budget: below Rm1000 if possible

Current target list is:
1. Canon 24mm F2.8 STM
2. Yongnuo 35mm F2

Can anyone give me advice on the choices?
I do have concern here on the 24mm on the focus ring for video if using manual focus. But not sure is it fine or will be difficult to use.

Issue at office

Hi all, in my company, i am handle project and arrange technician for site support.
However, my boss want me to takeover a major task from a manager that going to retired in 2-3 years time. but at the same time i need to maintain my current task.
I am facing difficulty which the new task that i am going to takeover require time to pickup, and at the same time my current task is keep me busy.
Moreover, technician is lazy and doing work slowly, some times i even have to pick up their job to avoid delay in project which cause me really busy.
Now I have a sense that boss feeling i am not working hard enough.
May I know how do i get out from this situation?
All the technician is older than me and working longer than me. They tend to push away responsibility some times.

Hi all, i have been working as an employee for 5 years, graduated as an engineer. Last year i started to run my part time business and it is still growing, not to say very good but ok for me.
And recently my day job is getting more demanding and affected my part time business.
I am considering to resign and focus on my business.

My basic information is as below:
My day job salary: 5k
Estimated side income: 3k
My saving able to support my living for 1 year (after deduct all the monthly expenses)a
**Note: if i resign, my side income will become my full time income, which means i will get profit from my business which is around 3k for now.

Does anyone came across this path able to give some suggestion?

Hi all, is work life balance is difficult to achieve in nowadays working environment?
I am just a senior in my company, but when i seeing those manager in my company worked until 12am (continue at home after working hour), I feel tiring and seriously dont wish to have that kind of lifestyle. and my boss recently keep throwing a lot of work to me.
Is it first must have more workload to the state that you have to work even after working hours and also weekend to get promote to manager level?

Anyone of you able to achieve work life balance and still able to maintain high salary or high position? Mind to share your experienced?

hi all, I am working in a IT company and I have no programming background.
Recently my new job scope is to handle one of the application that developed by our company by using Python.
I am require to solve bugs now and add in new feature.
Is there anyway to become expert as soon as possible?

I had watched some Youtube tutorial and online tutorial, but I still cant understand the application code.
It is like totally different and much complicated.
Is there anyway to overcome this?
