Maybank2u Foreign TT transfer issues

Hi I have been searching everywhere for more info on Maybank Foreign TT transfers.

I am currently living overseas and I want to transfer RM30,000 in funds from my Maybank savings account to my foreign account.
I specifically asked a Maybank staff whether I can do this before I left (they said yes) because the exchange rate was really bad at the time so I wanted to wait for a bit.

I entered all the details online with Maybank2u and my transaction was rejected because the amount was above RM10,000. But no where on their website does this RM10,000 limit get mentioned. In fact, "Step 1" in their TT transfer form specifically states that the transfer limit is RM30,000. I made sure I was transferring just under RM30,000 as I am sure I did not exceed the limit.

It looks like Maybank wants to charge me 3x the fees to transfer RM30k?

Any sifus here that do big transfers with Maybank2u foreign TT can tell me what is going on?

I work in a MNC here but I plan to move overseas (12 hours time zone difference) in 1 year or 2 but I haven't told them yet.

I like the current company and they do have a physical branch where I want to relocate to (none of the employees there work in my division).

Any chance they will do it or I have to quit? I heard it was quite common in the 80s where the MNC company just does everything (work permits etc). If I tell them early will it make the chances higher?

My case is that I will have legal residence in the other country so they just need to handle the relocation paperwork.
