i have received a quotation from one of my contractor, please help to see whether it is overpriced or not.. thanks..

To supply labour and material to install air-conditioner point at whole house area (direct to DB Box)

To supply labour and material to install fan point with fan bracket at whole house area
3 no RM 85.00 = RM 255.00
To supply labour and material to install lighting dimmer at living hall & dining hall
2 no RM 85.00 = RM 170.00
To supply labour and material to install autogate point at front entrance
1 no RM 580.00 = RM 580.00
To supply labour and material to install autogate at front entrance. (motor)
1 no RM 1,800.00
To supply labour and material to install light point at at whole house area
1 no RM 65.00
To supply labour and material to install 13armp plug point at whole house area
1 no RM 85.00
To supply labour and material to install flat board plaster ceiling at living hall & dining hall
1 L/SUM RM 1,100.00

Moving to a new house

Hi, I am about to move in to a new house maybe in a 1-2 months from now. So far I have read the Home Defect Rectification Checklist by Mr Aaronpang..good info bro, keep on with that..

As a beginner in this “thing”, we are trying our level best to search for the best price + good quality for everything for our new house.. We wouldn’t mind to put away the quality side (a bit only) since we are really on a tight budget. I would say that our budget for this so called renovation is 20k max, with extra few thousands to spare in case of anything.

Anyway, so far we (me n wifey) have sorted out in regards of the kitchen cabinet..i would say we landed a good price for 16ft melamine + solid surface table top for 5.7k. we have searched heaven and earth for the best price and this is the best that came out so far.

Now, I am looking for:

a) Hood + Hob
(preferably from Rubine) not exceeding 1.5k (we came across 1 shop @ seksyen 8 bandar baru bangi for that price, but we did not grab it because there might be a better choice or better brand, how silly we are). Do any of you gentleman has any recommendation for this?
b) Alarm system
c) I prefer paradox brand coz’ of its reliability, the cheapest I can get is RM 1280 with:
• 1 x unit Paradox Panel Spectra 4000,
• 1 x unit Backup battery
• 1 x unit Keypad K636 ,
• 1 x unit Indoor & outdoor siren,
• 3 x unit magnetic contact for door
• 12 x unit vibration for grill*
• 1 x Standard casing/conduit installation
• 1 x Programming alarm call to your mobile hp when alarm trigger. (with optional vdmp3 card @rm165 only you can arm/disarm tru mobile hp when you away)
I know the price is only for trunking installation, I would prefer those conceal 1. Is the price ok or have you guys come across something that is cheaper?
d) Autogate system
This part I really don’t know, can anyone lighten me up?
e) Plaster ceiling
f) This one I am still searching for it.. Let me know if you need to know the size of my hall & dining area, the floor plan left @ home hehe..
g) Wiring
Hah!! I lagi confuse, what kind of wiring do I need?

Please help me brother & sister, I am totally blank right now hahaha!!

cobra alarm system

hi, recently i cannot start my vios 2005 model.. it seems that the car is in immobilze state.. (the red light next to steering column is bilinking) i try to unlock again on the remote and it dosent seem to work. i have lost my immobilizer key..anyone can help?urgent case here. thanks.
