Broadband provider
ISP/package: Streamyx with 4mb.
Location: Sarawak,Miri.
Have you called your ISP's helpline?: I guess its none of ISP problem.

Personal equipment
Modem: Aztech DSL605EW as main. Known as router.
Router: Router that i use for repeater is Asus RT-N12-D1 as repeater, so i can connect upstairs desktop with Ethernet.
Firewall used: Yes, didnt setting though. original with window 8.

Problem details
Problem: The first time i thought it was my signal not that good. I will disconnect from Rt-N12-D1 every hour when i connect ethernet to my desktop. I use CMD ping www.tmnet.com.my -t to check my ping, and every hour i got transmit ping failed then i got disconnected for 10 secs. Yes, every hour disconnected. I just bought this router not more than a week.

I searched alot, and i wonder is Asus stock firmware problem? orginal stock firmware was V3.0.0.4.260. I thought updating to firmware will solve the problem but after updated, it still occurs same problem.

(I flash some dd-wrt firmware but dont know setting lol. No idea so just skip it and back to stock firmware)

Any experienced of it? SIfu Help please T.T
If anyone got commend for a new router as a repeater mode for ethernet, please PM me
Hopefully I can solve the problem without spend my money again. Any sifu help please.
