Renovation of linked bungalow - where to start?

I have just bought a pre-owned linked bungalow. The previous owner renovated and extended it 2 years ago, and generally the house is in a pretty good condition. But I still need to do some renovation - looking at:

- painting entire house
- garden landscaping (considering changing car porch tiles and converting some tiled portion to grass)
- changing all toilet floor and wall tiles and toilet seat covers
- electrical check
- pumbling check

and on top of that looking at some ID for house interior.

I have not done any reno before, so I have no clue where to start. Do you think I should attempt to do this on my own or enlist someone to help out e.g. ID or contractor?
