[WTA] how do i enable 3G in Galaxy S3?

i just bought galaxy s3 and that day when i first turn on the phone, it pops up smth to let me choose my network, there's 2G and 3G, i accidentally select the 2G option. and then after i start using data, i notice that the network showing on top is always "E" "G" or "H" but never 3G (i'm using maxis) and my friend who are using maxis as well shows 3G on her iphone when she's together with me.

i go to settings -> mobile network -> network mode and then there's only 3 option, GSM/WCDMA , GSM only , WCDMA only, wanna ask what is WCDMA? is that 3G?
how can i turn on the 3G T___T anyone can help me with this? T__T

how to reformat acer laptop (window 7)?

i have both recovery disc and window 7 disc but then i've read that the laptop can be recover using the hidden partition,
i know how to reformat in the classic way (go to boot and create partition and blah blah blah) but how do we do it with the acer recovery system? just use ALT + F10 on the startup or do i need to do the classic way of reformat before i do recovery?
and if im using the recovery system, how to create partition D because the actual laptop does not have another partition other than C drive..
what if i choose not to use the recovery system which is store in hard drive and to reformat manually? how do i get back all my drivers installed?

internet suddenly become very slow

i'm using 1mbps streamyx and it happened since last week and i thought it was slow because i've reached the limit but already a week and i cannot tahan already..
the internet is sometimes slow sometimes fast but is slow all the time.
when i try download the speed is around 40 - 50kbps. i never had this kind of problem before, it was always smooth and the speed is not bad, can reach to about 100kbps++ when i download stuff...
now even i go facebook or other site to see pictures also slow, it takes a very very long time to load pics and the pics always incomplete that i need to keep refreshing and it is never like that T____T
weird thing is i went to speedtest.net to test my download speed it says 0.94mbps and upload speed is 0.35mpbs, is better than normal time when i don't have all the problems...
anyone can help me to fix this problem
