Reason for sale: Bought the S size jacket for a dinner function. I was overly ambitious and the jacket fitted me "just right" (means I need to suck in my tummy slightly for it to look perfect). It was quite an uphill task wearing it for 2 hours while trying to eat....

Hence decided it would be better to let it go to a more "fitting" person.

What you do when ppl owe u money?

I've lent a few hundred ringgit to 2 colleague since April/May this year.

To me I can still make do without that amount and both my colleagues knew that, since I do earn higher salary in relation to theirs. They are actually both quite close to me and tell me about their problems, especially with work and their difficult financial situation.

Hence i never chase them for the money as i expected them to pay me back in installments or when they are better off financially.

However to date neither has taken the initiative to pay me back or even say to me when they'll be able to pay back. I mean it's ok if you can't pay back at the moment but at least tell me or make a commitment to when they will repay the money. I would have appreciated that at least they made some effort rather than the attitude of not mentioning or pretending they've never taken loan from me.

Now I'm thinking of giving them what I thought of the situation and asking them both to commit to a date/method of repayment. I don't want this matter to drag on till one day either of them say "Got meh?" when I ask back for my money.

I can actually easily ask my boss to deduct salary from both of them to pay me back, but I don't want opt for that unless it's the last resort.

Any advice? thanks.
