Where to study IT?

Hey guys I'm planning to study Computer Science (Software Engineering) for my tertiary studies. I looked around on the Internet and found out two institutes well known for IT studies which is APU and MMU but couldn't decide between the two.
I also heard of comments (particularly bad ones) about APU, claiming that the future campus is a lie, good lecturers are gone etc.
Then only I become confused, I actually think APU is my first choice before knowing these dirty secrets wide spreading. rclxub.gif
Therefore, I sincerely hope LYN forumers would give me some ideas regarding my tertiary studies and guide me through. icon_question.gif
Anyone working/studying on these institutes please give me your two cents,any other suggestion is also welcomed. notworthy.gif

I seldom speak english so I hope to study in a university which uses english as the main medium for teaching or even socializing. Only then I could force myself to get outside the shell and speak more confidently.

PS: I'm an SPM leaver.

Motherboard USB crashes...

Have you guys deal with motherboards' USB that crash with certain storage devices? (like and external hard drive). Currently I'm facing this problem and today I asked a experienced guy he just say "you must clear your motherboard's USB" and I don't get it
What exactly I need to do/reset in order to get the USB ports working again?

My desktop can't detect an external HDD

Hey guy just wanna ask if any of you encounter this problem before. When I plug in my external hard disk to the back of the motherboard (I've tried every single USB port) But the ext.HDD just give out some tickle sound and can"t be detected. I checked the jumpers on my mobo but everything seems fine. Help?
The ext HDD is usable in any other computer in my house, except the desktop comp...

Factory overclocked GC vs reference?

So this is it. I've saw dealers selling factory overclocked and reference card of the same modal at different prices (this is for sure lol)
But I don't really get the point of buying overclocked card at a higher priced while we can overclock it ourselves.
Does factory overclocked card provide other benefit from overclocking ourselves?
Is it the warranty issue so..?

Question on Cooler Master Cosmos II

Hey guys does anybody own themseleves an Cosmos II? Few questions here. How big is the case actually? How many radiators can be mounted in? 3x120mm on top and? Are the HDD case on the bottom and under the PSU part removable? Can I put one 4x120mm radiator on down if the cages are removed? If yes then the total number of radiator is 3. Which means x3 on top, x2 on bottom and x4 on the most bottom
Whats your opinion? A case which supports water cooling till that level? 3 rads?

So I heard most of the motherboards on the market these days can only run one graphic card at x16, 2 at x8 x8 (some x16 x16) and 4-Way Sli or CF at x8 x8 x8 x8 and so on. One thing I'm curious about is, why do other peoples put in 4 graphic cards running at x8 x8 x8 x8? Wouldn't x16+x16=x8 x8 x8 x8? So are there no motherboards yet in the market that supports all 4 full speed PCI Express bandwidth? Does bandwidth affect much on the graphic card performance? As running a graphic card on half speed makes me feel like reducing the performance by half

Memory Specifications of processor

I browse through Intel's website and notice the "# of Memory Channels" of both core i5 and i7 2nd Gene processor only support two?
Anyone can tell me more about memory channel? Im pretty sure Intel don't mean those processor can only support two sticks of RAM btw

Question on dual-display (DVI)

Hmm, nowadays most graphic cards comes with dual DVI,HDMI and Mini Display Port right?

Have you guys open few games at the same time before?The question is do I need a very good GC to run the games or just a big amount of RAM (16GB)?

Anybody know what is the price for RM? Cause when I search on internet some sell VT 7 for RM255 and 5 for RM200.
However, some says VT5 costs RM250

Quesion about to spray painting

I spray painted my whole casing to black colour yesterday. It looks awesome.
But, the surface was a bit rough and it sticks dusts there
Any suggestion which layer should be added in order to make it shiny and smooth?(And doesn't attract dust)
