Hi guys, just trying my luck here, helping a neighbour to setup his internet.

he is using pr1macomm fibre and wanted to change to a new router, the technician gave him the pppoe details but didn't manage to connect to the internet.

the modem provided is dasan h665 and its in bridge mode.

wanted to try to setup the vlan id but already tested with most vlan id i can find using google, 629, 1001,1600 (for digi, tested using speedtest and it shows digi, so i assume it is riding on digi punya infra)

the router is a tp link router, archer c64 i think

if there's anyone here are using the same isp, maybe can share?

he will contact the isp on monday but if anyone can share the details, maybe can save the hassle of the technician to come over again.

[WTA] Wireless Hard Disk Recommendation

Hi guys, need extra opinions and recommendation on wireless hard disks, I'd found 3 that should be 'OK' for regular usage.

However, if anyone has any experience or opinion to share, you are very welcome to do so.

My brother's car just got robbed near Number One in Tmn U, around 8.00pm yesterday (1st Oct), the thieve(s) smashed the rear passenger's window and took my bag which contains a lenovo laptop (black), a garmin-asus a10 phone (black), an aztech dsl1000ew router (white), a microsoft 4000 mouse (turqouise), a powerbank (white-orange sides), a 16gb pendrive (white), and some clothes, and the bag's brand is deuter (black-grey).

Initially, I want to buy the ipad 2 for him but I'm afraid that he will not fully utilized it and it is rather high on the price as well.

So, I was thinking of getting the Acer Iconia w500 that runs windows, or anything that comparable to that (maybe the Asus Transformer)

Image and Speech Processing

Hi guys(/girls), I am currently a Master student and my research interest is on speech processing particularly in Articulatory Synthesis area, but I kind of interested in image processing too.

Therefore, I want to ask any of you that has any experience with both of those areas, as I wanted to integrate them together, such as a talking 3D head (from my readings) or any other that you may have conducted research before or anything.
