xbox 360 no display via HDMI & composite cable

hi all, i just bought my modded xbox 360 yesterday, the problem is its very hard to connect to my samsung plasma tv via HDMI or composite cable, everytime i want to play, i need to on & off about 10-15 time to make it connect, it always said "no signal" on my tv..anybody can help me? what wrong with my xbox?

yesterday i install my new HDD, while waiting for file transfer, i touch my gc to feel the heat & my finger just go through to the gc fan, at 1st its still working but with some noise sound..after i restart the pc the fan is not working, i need to spin it with my finger then it working back, its seem everytime i shutdown or restart pc i must do that, then i took off the gc fan, check it got 1 crack over the fan, i put it back & run my pc, WTH fan is totally not working anymore even i spin it with my finger, i check the gc temperatures it show 54c when web surfing ( thanks to the casing side fan that help a little to cool down the gc) so is 54c is normal for normal using? do i need to change the fan? if yes where to buy? , this is the most stupid thing i ever done, touch my gc fan
