Sorry....DIY noob here....

Am wondering any workshop in KV area provide hole-drilling service using a drill press?

Need to drill a 2.5mm diameter hole into a aluminium CPU heatsink for tapping and later mounting onto a laptop CPU.

Tried practice drilling using a cordless drill, carbide tip into a 10mm thick aluminium plate, find it quite difficult to drill into the plate and keep the drill in a perfect vertical hole.

Hi guys, anyone been through this program and become permanent in Dell? I'm a freshie wanted to know what it takes to go through this program and the working life (+ pay) in Dell.

Recently Dell offered me RM2.3k for this 6-month program, offering 2month classroom @ Dell Bayan Lepas + 4month otj @ Dell Cyberjaya. I'm interested at IM Engineering's job scope though.

Hi guys, week ago I realize my 2nd sim card slot is faulty (often card read my sim card well) (100% confirm not sim card problem). Am planning to take it for warranty but after a quick search on the forum I found that lots of people having problem with their phone after warranty repair!! I kindda don't trust ASUS Warranty anymore am looking into shops that are RELIABLE on fixing/replacing my sim card slot.

Any recommendation?

Laptop Charger Lower Ampere

Yesterday I purchased a laptop charger from lowyat to replace the current laptop charger which I've lost.

I didn't know much about how to buy a good one so I just ask the promoter for it and he sold it to be for RM80....

This morning only I realize the charger is actually provide lower ampere that the ratings stated under my laptop

I did a couple of search and some sources says that lower ampere might damage my laptop when my laptop need more juice (like during gaming etc).

So my concern is will my laptop's motherboard get damaged or might not last that long if I continue to use this charger,even though the ampere difference is this little?

Laptop Model: Toshiba Satellite L745

My laptop : 19V 3.95A
Charger : 19V 3.92A

I've heard studying in UniTEN for Electronic Engineering is the best choice.

Is it?
Are UniTEN's lecturer good?
How about their facility?
How about their accomodation,in campus and outside of the campus?

Before this I had MMU in my mind but I heard MMU's lecturers aren't that good anymore...
