Hi everyone,

I would like to ask, whom have used/experienced shipping purchases from UK to Malaysia to share their experiences here?

Experience #1 :
I have purchased an item from a renowned UK website (first time) around the 6th July. My item was posted out on the 9th of July.
They gave an ETA stating that it should reach me by 18th July.
So I waited and gave some allowances for other factors (weather, timezone, etc)
3 weeks has passed, no sign of the parcel then I emailed them and they asked to wait till the 31st July which I did but my item still have not arrived.
After the deadline, I emailed them again yesterday and they provided a refund which I thank God for.

There's no problem here as it has been settled and I am grateful for it.

Situation now :
But now, I want to purchase an item from ebay and the seller is from UK and she is offering Royal Airmail (Small Packets).
The item I want is a breakable item (cosmetic).

So after the facing such experience shopping online from UK, I really want my item but am hesitant because I don't know till how long it will reach me.
And if it reaches me, whether my item will arrived in good condition or shattered.

She offered another option which is a tracked parcel at 7.59 pounds. (around RM37.16). And I am still hesitant as I tried googling for Royal Airmail reviews, etc and don't seem to find any updated promising feedback.

So I really would like to know if any of you have experiences purchasing items from the UK recently.

Here's some questions to guide your answers :

*How long did it take for your item to arrive Malaysia?
*Which website did you buy from?
*Did your package/items arrived in good condition?
*Experience any tariff/taxes/problems with Customs/Pos Msia?
*Know the whole process (UK - Msia - Doorstep)
*What other options did you use?
