Pickids 2nd dose appointment

Hi, anyone encountered this.
My 2 kids got first dose on the same day in February. However, when I want to make appointment for 2nd dose, only my elder child can choose date and clinic. Younger child 2nd dose status is "Not open".
Anyone know why? Thanks in advance.

Pros of buying subsale residential property

Wanna ask sifus here, what are the pros of buying a subsale property vs. new launch?
I will list down a few that I can think of:

1. Can touch and see what you going to get
2. No need wait for construction
3. No need pay interest during construction
4. Almost the only option if want buy at matured area as no more land for new
5. Can nego the price with seller

For new launch, most are selling at future prices. But of course you don't need to ready big sum of money for upfront payment like subsales. Reno is also easier for new launch as no need to tear down old reno.

Also, defect liability period is standard for new launch and can't guarantee that subsale owner got take good care of his house (internal water pipes, electrical wiring, AC pipes, sewage system etc.)

So what drives people to look for subsales?

Hi guys, wanna ask if take Grab car to gov hospital, can specify to driver the drop off at which area?
Gov hospital normally area is big and sometimes have to walk very far to reach clinic/ward.
And how about when pickup from hospital?

Vietnam Airlines experience

Hi, would like to ask anyone travelled before on Vietnam Airlines from KUL to Korea or Japan, how is the overall experience?
Things that I know from online info:
1. A321 from KUL to SGN or HAN is without IFE
2. Crew attitude is unfriendly
3. Boarding is not organised
4. Plane from SGN or HAN onwards is B787 or A350, new and modern
5. Food is not too bad

Anyone can share your experiences?
Their prices are much cheaper than other more established Asian airlines, just wondering if there are other catches.

Setting up my Android phone as router

Hi guys,

I am trying to use an App on my phone which requires a LAN mode connection to an IOT device (think of a light bulb).

When I connect both my phone and my light bulb to my home WiFi, it is working.
But when I use my Android phone as a mobile hotspot, and then connect the light bulb + another phone to my hotspot, the device or App refuse to work in LAN mode. It goes through the cloud instead, which causes a significant delay in response time.

Just curious what is the difference of using a home WiFi router, vs using a mobile hotspot.
I have googled it and most sites tell me they are the same.
I need to get it to work in LAN mode outside my home.

Saw some ads selling 2014 facelift K5 at about 80k, but new K3 with the massive discounts also about 80k+ including 3 years free service.

C segment vs D segment, 1.6 vs 2.0, new vs used...
Personally like the K5's look but a bit worried on maintenance although still under warranty..

hi /k, i need to know if i have a transit for 15 hours in a foreign country, is my luggage checked in directly until final destination?

for e.g. KUL - SIN (15 hrs) - HKG...
do i need to take my luggage out in SIN and re-check in, or just collect it in HKG?

sorry i noob cos my only experience with transit is for 1 hour only.

I am trying to download an app for a product that is imported from the US, but when I search in Play Store, it doesn't show up.
Emailed the customer support and she said the app is not available out of the US...

Suggestion for place to unwind for 10-12 days

Guys, need suggestion as I will have a long holiday end of sept for 10-12 days.
Want to find a place to unwind and relax + do some sightseeing.
1. Budget 5k include flight. If place is nice stretch a bit also can.
2. Weather must not too hot as I lose all interest when too hot and humid. Rain is OK as I wont have specific itinerary, can wait for rain to stop
3. Sightseeing spots (at least major ones) are within day trip distance. Dont want people say "har u went to xxxx but didnt visit this place??!"

Extra cash in hand, into home loan or HP?

Hi..
Lets say I have extra cash in hand. Do I do full settlement on my car, or dump into semi-flexi housing loan?
Car HP interest rate: 2.68% p.a.
Home loan interest rate: BLR-2.4 which currently = 4.45% p.a.

I have done some calculation and basically 2.68% fixed interest translate to about 4.7% effective. So, settling the car makes more sense?

But I also think that by putting into home loan, there is chance to withdraw it in case of emergency (need to pay rm50 processing fee).

Any sifu can advise me? Pls dont ask me put into other investment that can generate >5% earning p.a.
It is strictly HP or home loan.
