tenant or landlord to pay?

Floor below mine lodged a report of leakage at their bathroom ceiling.
Management checked and reported a loose (or deteriorated) discharge pipe end cap.
So basically water came from my bathroom unit (level 7), leaked and damaged level 6 bathroom ceiling.
Management gave 7 days to me (level 7) to seek professional help / to rectify the problem.

The unit is tenanted.
Now, question is... is the landlord or the tenant responsible for the repair cost?

Cabin filter question

I was charged rm320 for cabin filter replacement at a Mazda Service Centre (Thrive Glory).. was just wondering if there’s additional thing that they do other than swapping old filter with a new one? New filter is less than rm30 (online). The price difference just doesnt make any sense.. Mazda 3 Skyactiv btw…

Need advise - beetle 1.2 TSI

Friend of mine is selling his 2015 Beetle to me. Mileage is very low around 40k only. All services were done on time.
Last month he encountered some problem with the left side mirror, dont know what the issue was but probably something wrong with its motor. So he sent his car to VW Balakong. Checked but the SC said nothing is wrong so he just drove away.

Now, that was when more issues started to come.

During his drive back from the VW he noticed ESP light came out. He went back to VW but they cannot check straight away but gave him an appointment date which is in March instead!

After several days, check engine light came out. In this past few days, EPC light came out, ABS light, Steering light.

1. Will VW SC know if I go and check the fault code outside workshop? Will it void the warranty?
2. Is there such a thing as false warning light? Because according to him when he went to check the side mirror at VW, they plugged in OBD2 so probably the entire system went cuckoo for some reason? Idk, just thinking of possibilities.

I see a mosquito flying in my car when im going 100kmh, means the mosquito is flying at 100kmh speed too?

Hi a noob question here
I heard people saying if buying property or car with a significant amount of cash the tax office will bug us. Is it always the case, or they do randomly? And how do they find out that we’re buying cash. If property yes there are documents related to tax office , the ckht forms, even though im not sure if they can tell if its cash purchase or financed by just looking at the documents alone. How abt cars? How do they know??

Just sharing.

I was a U mobile user for many years until early september this year when i decided to port out and change to Digi family 150 plan because of umobile's terrible coverage.

However i found that having 2 separate data bucket (weekend / weekdays) is kind of hard to manage (even harder cos sharing data with wife). so after less than a month of using Digi i plan to change back to umobile.

Went to umobile Times Square for port in request and a day after that got a call from Digi.

They offered me a RM98 plan, 30Gb data, Unlimited video streaming, Unlimited calls - just like umobile. Do note that this package isnt offered to public (as i was told) and only offered to selected people for the purpose of customer retention. (However I have friend recently changed to umobile from digi but was not offered this..)

Even better, they are giving me a credit in my account worth 3 months. Yes, RM98 x 3 = RM294 credit in my account - to be used to offset my coming bills.
They are also paying me an extra of RM10.60 in my account as credit becos I have paid umobile for a new sim.

I am a senior financial analyst now and have been working in this field since graduated for about 8 years now. Truth is, I feel so lazy to go to work everyday. I don't feel the excitement in looking at numbers, analyzing data, reports, etc etc anymore like I used to. I feel like I hate my job and I hate what I do now.
