[WTA] Can I file a complaint to customer tribunal?

TLDR: Can I lodge a complaint to customer tribunal because genting is taking more 4 months to process a refund with no status update and doesn't respond to inquiries?

Story:
Last December, I booked for a room in genting for 18th march.
Then with the coronavirus situation, I asked for refund. Was told it will take up to 3 months. 3 months passed and I still did not receive it. Called again (18th June) and was given the excuse that nobody was working during MCO. Was asked to email customercare instead to ask, even though the back number that I call is the number that is published in the newspaper for refund.

Email reply mentioned that they will get back to me. Fast forward to to July. Still no news. So I sent an email last week asking about the status. No reply. Sent email again on Tuesday. No reply.

I will call again tomorrow.
But I wanna ask if it's possible to lodge a complaint to tribunal if genting is still giving all sorts of excuses?

Hi,

I found some bugs in my wife's piano. I wonder if it is termites.
They are quite small. Approximately 2-3mm. It's smaller than the pictures of termites that I see online

If they are termites, should I call a pro or should I diy? Any recommendations?

EDIT 2: A professional came over and said it's definitely not termites but an uncommon bug. Relief!!

Buy Unifi BTU/modem

Is it possible for me to buy a BTU/modem and then configure it to work with Unifi? Or the BTU/modem has some special configurations and I have to get it from TM?

The reason why I'm doing this is because my BTU is faulty and TM is dragging their feet to get my modem replaced. It's been a week and I still do not get a definite date on when my BTU will be replaced.

Should bill be rounded when CC is used

Recently I noticed that rounding is also applied to bills even when you pay using card.
Is this "right"?

Personally, I don't mind it much as some bill are rounded up and some are rounded down.
But I think rounding should not happen at all for credit card payments.

Multitouch behaviour

I've downloaded multi touch test apps to test my lumia 620 and I noticed a peculiar behaviour.

When it is charging, the screen registers up to 4 touch points perfectly.

When it is not charging, the screen will register single touch point just fine.
It is barely able to register two points. When I tried 3 points, it is all over the place. 4 touch points is total fail.

I used several multi touch test app to test and they all gives the same result.

I'm having problems setting up my tplink tl-1043nd to connect to unifi.

It didn't work too. The settings are not similar to each other. (I assume because it is using different routers)

I've tried several other combinations as well but it just wouldn't work. I wonder what did i do wrong.

From what I read, It seems like i can use the DIR 615 for the iptv and tplink for the pc.

Dlink DIR 615 firmware version 7.09

I drove to Ipoh from KL for a vacation and while I was in Ipoh, my boss called. I picked it up because it was my boss and I was stopped by a policeman. He asked me whether I want him to "tolong" or issue me a summon. I said summon politely. I noticed that in the summon, it was written that it cannot be compounded and I have to appear in court next year January. Any body have the similar experience? What should I do?

Salesman said 2 weeks get car

Not sure whether this is the correct section or not.

As per title, my friend went to an agent to buy a new MyVi. The salesman said that they can get the car in 2 weeks. But after the deposit has been paid etc, 2 weeks later, the car is still no where to be seen. Delay after delay, and now it's been more than 3 months. He gives all kind of excuses like MyVi waiting period is long, that he's busy doing something else. The salesman sometimes refuse to pick up my friend's mother's call as if he's afraid of some scolding.

My questions are:

1. The salesman should have known that it will take more than 2 weeks to get the car beforehand right? He's a car salesman and should have known about the waiting period. In this case, he chose to lie. If this is the case can we do something about it?

2. If the salesman somehow do not know about it, can he be held responsible? What can we do about this?

Taking a bit longer than promised is already bad. Taking more than 3 months the time promised is outrageous.

BTW, they got the car plate number. Is it possible that they can get the car plate number without the engine chassis number?

Will post the company name, address and salesman name here after I get it from my friend.

The situation is like this.

House A is in Petaling Jaya. The streamyx line & account is there. Account less than a year.
House B is in Penang.

Moving from House A to House B. Can I transfer the account to House B? If yes, can it be done in Penang's telekom? Anybody have this experience before? What are the procedures? Is there any fees?

Remove Unused or flush COM Port Assignment

Anyone of you know how to remove unused or flush com port assignments? some of the programs im working with only works with com port 1- 8 and when i plug in my hardware, it is assigned com port 13 or so thus making it unable to work with the software. manually assigning the com port doesnt work. is there anyway i can remove the com port assignments?

I'm having problem getting the user that belongs to a specific group in LDAP server. Does anyone know how?

the base would have to be dc=people,dc=test,dc=com

i can get list of groups a user is in, but not teh list of users a group has

I've created a JSP page and well it's now in the testing phase. Me and my supervisor can use the page without any problems(deployed in a testing server) but when one of the staff responsible for testing page use it, it generates some exception thus causing error 500

In what cases would things like this happen? I mean we're all accessing the same server and using the same resource but why when the staff uses it, it generates exception.

how to compile for a machine with older libraries

hi. im new to linux and i am trying to compile programs using ubuntu 6.10 for ipcop 1.4.11. i have no success so far. i get errors saying

/lib/lib.so.6 version glibc_2.4 not found.

i tried searching the internet and what is the ubuntu is using glibc version 2.4 meanwhile the ipcop is using glibc version 2.3.3. i tried upgrading the libraries but it just trashed the whole ipcop system

i've also tried to download glibc 2.3.3 to use in the compilation process but from what i read in the documentation, we need an older glibc to compile a newer one? when i tried to ./configure anyway an error saying gcc is too old or missing came out even though my gcc is the latest. do we need to set the CFLAG if we do this? all the things i've looked in the internet is kind of overwhelming for a linux newbie like me

do anyone know how can i compile programs to run on the ipcop? i've been working on this for the past few days:help:

P.S. the ipcop system do not have any development tools.

Problem description: i cant get the ddns to work on the modem router, it doenst updates the ddns on dyndns or no-ip.com. anyone got this to work before?

i've tried both dyndns and no-ip with no avail. it doenst update the thing.
i put :-

wat seems to be wrong? any help is greatly appreciated
