this may sound silly but i need to hear it from you guys..

i need to voice out my problems at work as below:

1) my low basic salary Rm1.6K (not even close to common 2K)
2) no allowances (gaji mati pada RM1.6K plus OT)
3) my 4 hour OT does not count by boss's point of view and not reflected on my paycheck (happened few months already)

and i supervise 8 tugboats marine operations (high skilled work) and it is my 2nd jump (3rd company on the same line of industry)

BUT SALARY SO LOW I CAN ONLY PAY RENT, FOOD AND TOPUP

and i cycle to work everyday (7.8KM way, 2 ways daily)

i need to know who i can reach out for this issue

Dear forumers,

i think i have made a mistake accepting a job offer here. everything was nice and good during the first 3 months
(although some problem with an idiot intern). but i did pass my probation period in which they raised my pay by $$$ and given a uniform.

then it goes downhill from here, she expects me to be able to do many things at once (multi tasking) at a point i got too many jobs at hand. and my intern is not helping me at all. i soon began to realize that this fucking intern has the boss on her side (since the boss is also a woman).

today my boss is picking at every one of my fault, for coming in late everyday (which was another office thing for everyone else), for not giving me feedbacks at any jobs given (i am refused of any phone allowance even though i asked, and my superior asked). for not following the very complicated procedure (so many, and they only made my job too difficult at times).

and now i will receive my second warning letter. i am not happy here, i have no backup plan. i dont want to be mistreated at work anymore. not by my boss, that idiot intern, and those below me who punch in too much work for me because of their in-competencies.

please advise.

for your info, this is my second post on a same issue.

I am recently mistreated by an intern who started HER practical 2 months earlier than me, and it has come to the point where she lectures me and raised her voice onto me.

i am a new hire, but recently confirmed by my company as i already passed my probationary period. when i first come in for work, this intern has to train me.

instead of training me she took this opportunity to mistreat me and i think she is trying to push me away and getting fired.

i have tried to be the nice and patient guy. but recently i retaliated. i maki her saying "aku dah menyampah dengan kau ni"

i am looking for advices since she is not talking to me, and whenever i to talk to her, she is replying in the rudest pay possible.

Dear forumers, please advise me on how to deal with this issue permanently without my ass getting fired.

Am i a loser for earning much much less than my other similar qualified friends? i mean my previous jobs pays handsomely despite being a seasonal job..

it feels like i traded a high paying but seasonal job over low paying but steady job. But i love both jobs, career-wise. The concern here is really the money i am getting out of it.

How do i approach a much younger colleague without sounding too arrogant or asking to be hated?

I just wanted to be treated fairly without being pushed away every time. No, not by an intern who started 2 months earlier than me.

I loved the job because of what i do. but also i hate the job when i have to share with a very sombong intern. she is not listening to me, she only knows to marah and eventually tells me what to do.

I still have to ask her things and she never really responds to what i needed for doing a task. Her attitude is just making a simple things feels, well inconvenient.

I noticed now that my phone cannot last a full day even if i left home with it on full charge. i aggressively use my phone for making calls, emails, whatsapp, and other half social media..

now i have been introduced to the fact that rooting might change my battery usage.. i was told it is like jail breaking on Iphone..

Thus i have few questions:

what are the pros and cons about rooting a phone anyway?
does it include free apps?
are they full versions?
can i change my battery usage to my own preferences?
will it help me extend my battery life?

Dear forumers,

Recently i have downloaded several new themes and wallpapers for my galaxy note 5, and today i suffered at work because i keep missing calls emails and other notifications due to my dumbphone stopped ringing during important calls

Funny thing is, the call is there, yet no ring, no sound, just there expects me to take a glance at my phone and immediately answer..

Could it be connected? from applying new themes could affect my sound settings?

i rebooted my phone and it works again like charm. but now i am curious if i change new theme it will be a silent call again..

Dear forumers,

i have a question, is it normal for a Samsung Galaxy Note 5 to have the lamination peel off on front screen?

while it does not affect the feature of a brilliant phone (imo so far) it does give a sore eyesight to me.. bubbly on the top left screen, another one at bottom left screen.. and i just recently sent this phone for a back glass cover replacement few days ago, didnt have bubbles before when i sent for repair..

since it is bought in end 2015, is it possible that it is a wear and tear issue of the product?

also somebody told me that a lifetime of a note series phone is about 5 year plus.. is it true? or is he talking BS to trick me into upgrading my phone.. hmmm

I have booked a flight to and fro Alor Setar and Kuala Lumpur on 22 oct and 23 oct respectively..
And today i just found out that i wouldnt need to travel both ways and i would like to get a full refund from Air Asia.. Is it possible to get a full refund? If so, how and when will it take to get it? Since i am keen on returning the money to my brother..

Hello again forumers!

So today i got a call from a company asking for my availability to attend an interview at their main office in the city, and i am expected to fill up an application form (which is normal) but theres another attachment which has a very interesting bit..

theres one question in the end of this attachment (separate from the application form itself) "What are my PROMISES to the company if i am hired?"

Well this came to me as a shock, never in my life i had to write down promises for something am uncertain of, or maybe the question can be rephrased so it does not sound like i am begging for an for a job..

Any thoughts on what the employers look for in this kind of questions?

Thx to the thread sections here, i managed to get a job offer from a company that i am really interested in.. I spend few days reading threads of Q&A, Do's and Dont's, tips and tricks which was very helpful in the interview today..

So the interview today was amazing, i was offer the job rightaway, and i was explained by the interviewer the job description and i agree to the job.. Problem is i need to set up epf account which requires me to get an offer letter from the company to register for epf.. Now the interview just ended few hours ago, but i forgot to ask about the offer letter.. So should i wait for the offer letter or ask in an email about it??

Sailing career or pursue degree instead

Hello everyone,

I have graduated this Jan 2017 with diploma of quality engineering with great results (3.72 cgpa) and was hired by a sailor in Langkawi to run her cruise business.. I loved the job, and i think i may have found what people call passion(for sailing, and being at sea)

But the job requires me to learn something totally different from what i learnt in uni (like sailing, cooking) and eventually i quit because i was not offered workers benefits like epf socso etc after 6 months of working..

Now i am unemployed just lepak goyang kaki at kampung and planning to go again to langkawi and explore other work options (start fresh)..

but i am also thinking about whether I should pursue my degree at my old uni doing the same course (so i could transfer credit and eff off early) OR chase my passion for sailing, which is pretty much adventurous and i think could be satisfying, with a little chance of turning back to landlubber life .. Also i am already 25y/o, single, have no intention to settle down in 5 years time, so settling down shouldnt be a deciding factor in this.. Any thoughts guys? 😣

i think my GPU has gone crazy, i used to enjoy a highly smooth gameplay on CS GO, but not anymore since i reformat my pc and reinstall my games.

Idk what exactly happened, ANY games i play, i'll get poor graphics and performance. CS GO was really snappy i couldn't even aim!

I did raise the resolution but it just gets worse, so i tried to tune it down to the lowest setting, I also tried switching to dedicated GPU just in case im still using the integrated GPU, but STILL the problem persists.

Salaam guys, recently i just got a laptop from my sister saying i have to activate windows 8.

but i didnt and today the pc stuck on Start screen, blocking access to desktop and i can only open task manager.

if i want to fix it myself, reinstall windows 8 or recovery app or sth

MS Surface RT wont turn on as usual

hello guys, i have had this problem with my MS Surface RT when it suddenly wont turn on at all.

i tried restarting it, force restart, and even hard reset, but nothing happened.

but the screen it lit somehow, so i am guessing its not screen problem

my purpose of writing this topic is to ask help on 2 things

1) where can i send my MS Surface RT for cheap and reliable fix? (its out of warranty mind)
2) what are the possible reasons for it to be like that? i have no idea
