WTA GPU and Motherboard compatibility

Hi Guys, can someone enlightened me how do you check whether the Graphics Card is compatible with your motherboard?

I'm currently using Asus P5QL-E motherboard and was thinking to buy a GTX960 / 750Ti to replace my burnt off GTX560TI.

Will it fit?

Advice need between choosing $ and career prospect

Hi Guys, need some serious advice here.

I've been working with this company for 3 years plus and coming to 4 years soon, but so far i'm still a junior execs which based on my expectation i should be senior by now.

Recently, i've found a new company that is willing to offer me a senior execs position but then i have to make a judgement call between staying on or leaving.

Basically my current company have offered me ESOS (employee share option scheme) which could only be exercise next year. By leaving the current company i'm basically giving up close to RM100k (the turnover i will get by exercising my ESOS and selling it right away based on current market price) on the table. Plus my current company give constant minimum 3 - 4 month bonus on top of salary which is consider quite good for none banking & O&G sector.

As for my new offer, there's nothing special about it except they offer me a senior title. Salary etc are almost identical. Another point to consider is also the new company will not be giving the bonus that my previous company offered. Most of my friend and colleague have advise me to just stay on for 1 more year and resign after i got my ESOS but i'm not really sure if i want to waste another year of my life staying on as a junior.

So guys i need advise on whether should i stay on for the money or leave for better career prospect.

Guys need opinion on should i go for i5 built or i7?
any idea should i go for 6870 or GTX560?
is ST60F -ES is sufficient to power the rig? or should i get the ST70F-ES?

i don't do heavy gaming but i like my pc running smoothly without lag.Furthermore, i wish the upgrade would last me for at least another 3-5 years... really regret on my previous rig choice which makes me feel the needs to upgrade only after 2 years.

I don't OC/ SLI / Crossfire also because i am an IT idiot

Although i have 2-3k budget, but i prefer to spend according to my needs not maximize my budget. And i stay in east malaysia (Kuching) therefore the price is slightly higher than the standard pricing. Even if i order online, there will be shipping cost

Any recommendation?

Anyway guys, regarding the GPU may i ask how to differentiate between the brand and model?

What's the difference between the manufacturers? all 4 of them have 1gb memory , 256 bit and ddr5. The only difference i realize is only the clock speed which i assume is the top OC achievable speed right?

If i don't really OC and don't plan to in the future, what are the criteria or aspect i should look into when choosing between the GPU? is it the manufacturer? core clock? or what?
