I have problem with Windows 11 that caused my keyboard's media key not working on Windows 11 after some times, until I signed out of Windows 11.

Keyboard itself is Logitech G915.

My keyboard volume key and media key is working fine, but some software in Windows 11 is hijacking my media key.

Anyway I can analyse what software is hijacking keyboard's media key?

US may send second aircraft carrier toward Israel

The U.S. could soon have two aircraft carriers in the eastern Mediterranean, according to Defense Department officials, a move that would mark a major escalation in U.S. military power in the region as fighting intensifies between Israeli forces and Hamas militants.

The aircraft carrier USS Dwight D. Eisenhower, along with its associated warships and fighter jets, was already scheduled to depart from Norfolk, Va., this week and may be ordered to deploy to the waters off the coast of Israel, according to two DOD officials who were granted anonymity to discuss future operations.

The Eisenhower group has long been scheduled to deploy and operate near Europe, DOD spokesperson Lt. Col. Bryon McGarry said in a statement Tuesday.

The ship is slated to leave Norfolk on Friday and could reach the eastern Mediterranean by the end of October if ordered, one of the DOD officials said. At that point, the Eisenhower would join the aircraft carrier USS Gerald R Ford and its strike group, which the Pentagon ordered to the waters off Israel on Sunday as a show of force after the surprise attacks on southern Israel.

Defense Secretary Lloyd Austin will continue to review the deployment plans of both ships, “as he considers the appropriate balance of maritime capability across theaters in support of national security priorities,” McGarry said.

The rare move to potentially have two aircraft carriers, which are accompanied by cruisers, destroyers and fighter jets as part of their strike groups, in the same area would be a major signal to Hamas that the U.S. military is supporting Israel.

The Pentagon did deploy two carriers to the Middle East in March 2020 amid heightened tension with Iran. At the time, both the Eisenhower and the USS Harry S. Truman, with their respective escorts, both operated in the Arabian Sea.

But the double carrier strategy has severely stretched the Navy in the past, with service leaders warning that it was unsustainable. Aircraft carriers are in high demand around the globe and are typically spread out to different regions.

The Wall Street Journal first reported that the U.S. was considering sending the Eisenhower toward Israel.

Source: https://www.politico.com/news/2023/10/10/u-...israel-00120793

Korean President used wrong greeting in Malaysia

SEOUL (AFP) - What's the difference between good afternoon and good night? In South Korea's cut-throat politics, it can be a furious political row and the foreign minister apologising to Parliament.

South Korean President Moon Jae-in visited Malaysia earlier this month and greeted his audience at an afternoon press conference with Prime Minister Mahathir Mohamad using the phrase "selamat sore".

The line is more commonly used in Indonesia - although the neighbours' languages are so similar they are generally mutually intelligible.

At the time, Tun Mahathir smiled and appeared amused, while Malaysian senior ministers laughed, but Mr Moon's South Korean critics slammed him for not using the correct Malaysian greeting "selamat petang".

And his use of that phrase, meaning "good afternoon", at a dinner beginning at 8pm - rather than "selamat malam", or good night - triggered another round of fury in Seoul.

Opposition lawmakers and newspapers lined up to excoriate Mr Moon, with headlines calling it a "diplomatic disaster".

The Korea Times assailed the "incompetence" of the presidential protocol team on Friday (March 22).

"The absence of a protest from the host country does not excuse the unbelievable carelessness," it added, saying it was one of a series of incidents demonstrating a "serious lack of professionalism and ethics" in the Blue House.

South Korea's Foreign Minister Kang Kyung-wha has apologised to Parliament, admitting that her ministry had made a "painful mistake".

"I apologise for causing concerns," she told the national assembly on Wednesday.

But an aide for the Malaysian prime minister's office told AFP that "selamat sore" was usable in Malaysia too.

"We were happy and amused when the President said it," he told AFP. "Personally, it is a non-issue."

Source: https://www.straitstimes.com/asia/east-asia...ntial-greetings

Source: Report: All Intel Processors Made in the Last Decade Might Have a Massive Security Flaw [Updated]

Summary:
1. All x86-based Intel CPU manufactured in last decade are affected.
2. Flaw: Security vulnerability that allow programs to read protected memory kernel in the processor areas to some extent, with risk of exposing protected information like password.
3. All OS is affected. The remedies available are to replace faulted CPU with redesigned hardware or patch to rewrite OS on kernel level. Update patch is ineffective.
4.
dropdown box in Explorer Properties misaligned

Need help on this weird problem.

Under compatibility tab in file properties, the DPI adjustment dropdown box will misaligned and when when I try to select the drop down menu it will flickered away and I end up selecting the checkbox instead.
My current workaround is click on "change setting to all users" and edit the DPI setting there but it's a nuisance that I would like to fix.

List that I had done:
"sfc /scannow" in command prompt
Reset explorer
Restart Computer
Restart Explorer.exe
Disk Cleanup

Any Other else?

It's occurred when I started using multiple display with one high DPI monitor (4K) and one standard DPI monitor (1080P). GPU is GTX1080.

BIOS screen not displaying through HDMI

I have trouble of PC not displaying bios through HDMI connection but it will display properly when on Windows startup. (Windows boot splash screen not displayed though)
I frequently changing BIOS setting so it's a nuisance to connect DVI cable to monitor in order to access bios and switch it back to HDMI connection on Windows startup.

What can I do to enable boot display in HDMI connection?

Below is my PC specification.

Monitors are Dell S2415H and IO-Data LCD-MF235XDBR and both not displaying bios on HDMI connection

Excluding Panasonic TV since I usually turn it off except when I wish to project my display to the TV. (Tried it once and not displaying as well through HDMI)

[attachmentid=9344441]

Public Masturbation is now legal in Italy

QUOTE

Italy's Supreme Court rules public masturbation not a crime

(CNN)Italy's highest court has ruled that masturbation in public is not a crime, as long as it is not conducted in the presence of minors.

The decision came down from the Italian Supreme Court -- La Corte di Cassazione -- in the case of a 69-year-old man, identified only as "PL," who was caught masturbating in Catania, a city on Sicily's east coast.

The man was convicted in May 2015 after he performed the act in front of students on the University of Catania campus, according to documents filed with Supreme Court. The man was sentenced to three months in prison and ordered to pay a fine of €3,200 (around $3,600).

However, the defendant's lawyer appealed the case to the country's highest court, which ruled on the side of the accused in June but only just made its decision public. Judges ruled that public masturbation out of the presence of minors is no longer deemed criminal conduct due to a change in the law last year, which decriminalized the act.

The new iteration of the criminal code does call for imprisonment -- of up to four-and-a-half years -- if the act is witnessed by a minor.[U]

In light of this ruling, the court overturned "PL's" sentence. The case has been sent back to local courts in Catania to determine exactly what the administrative fine -- between €5,000 ($5,651) and €30,000 ($33,912) -- will be.

Public masturbation remains a criminal offense in many other parts of the world, where it can lead to a jail sentence.

Source: http://edition.cnn.com/2016/09/08/europe/i...t-masturbation/

Summary: It's a offense if a kid spotted you masturbating.

Internet connection using foreign carrier phone

Hello guys.

I will come back to Malaysia temporarily for one month two days later and I want to stay connect using my carrier phone in Japan even in Malaysia. I need it for LINE to stay connected with my friends in Japan and Wechat to stay connect with my family in Malaysia.

My carrier phone is a Sony Xperia Z1 and it's Sim-locked. According to my carrier, I'm able to connect to Internet using my carrier phone in Malaysia by using data-roaming but that will be expensive. I don't use my carrier phone for data-intensive activities (20Mb/days is sufficient for me) but my carrier is charging at least 980 yen/days (Roughly RM30/day) and even if I used only one hours on that day I will be charged the same amount on the same days. If I used data-roaming everyday for one month I will end up paying RM1000 to my carrier.

I have no problem when I'm staying at my home in Malaysia since I can use the Wi-Fi in my house. but when I went outside of my house I need to stay connected to the Internet. Sometimes Wi-Fi is not an option and I need to rely on data plan (Like when I'm driving)

I still kept my old Samsung Galaxy Note 2 International version.

So here is some few options I can take:
1. Buy a prepaid Sim at Malaysia, place it in my old Galaxy Note 2 and activate Wi-Fi tethering so my carrier phone Xperia Z1 can use my old Galaxy Note 2 Wi-Fi.
2. Rent a Wi-Fi machine while at Malaysia for one month. (Maybe that will be expensive, I do not know.)
3. Had my carrier unlock my phone (Making it sim-free but that will cost RM100) and use Malaysian prepaid SIM at my Xperia Z1. (But maybe that will render Line and Wechat account registered while using number in Japan unusable, I do not know either)

Any alternative? What are the cheapest option I can took to have my carrier phone stay connected to Internet when I'm outside of my home in Malaysia?

After choosing one, telling another girl my choice

Malaysian Chinese here. Currently I had a bit of relationship dilemma with 2 of the cute Japanese girls in my class.

I am studying engineering course so the ratio of boys to girls in class is 5:1. The Japanese men have very seldom contact with Japanese women, nor does the Japanese women in class have very seldom contact with Japanese men in class. Mostly they stayed together with same sex. I think I'm the only man in class with the most frequent contact with women in class.

Right now I'm not sure, but 2 of the girls started to take a little liking in me, even inviting me to some event. 1 of the girl even talked to her parent about me and her parent is looking forward to see me. Myself too are also a little of falling in love.

In the end because of the frequency of my talking with the girls, I maybe ended up with two girls liking me. But as my friend advised, if I going to pick one, another one had to go, but it's too painful to tell another girl my choice ad I'm really sorry to hurt another girl's feeling.

Just how should I tell another girl??
One is a 2tb drive contained anime, music, games ( not all are obtained legally ) and one is a 750 GB contained obscene material. ( once again, not all are obtained legally )

Will they check my hard drive on my arrival?? Port of entry is Chitose airport at Sapporo.

Purchasing Philips TV remote

I had a Philips 32 inch LCD TV and my family member just happen to lost the remote control. Right now I'm kept on hunting the replacement remote contro. Try the universal remote control brought from pasar malam but one of the Philips TV's crucial setting, the display can't be changed which I need the most right now.

I'm scratching my head here finding the remote control, so anyone, where can I buy the original Philips remote control?

My TV's model number is 32PFL3403S/98.

Deluge Client Setting Page Blank

I went to setting page to set up Deluge torrent but when I want to configure to other setting, the Deluge's setting page just went blank. Nothing. It's annoyed me to have restart the torrent client all over again.

Does anyone encounter the similar problem?? I hated to think I'm the unlucky one who been hit by this strange behavior. Google doesn't seem to yield clue for me.

Game had incompatibility with Windows 8

I recently installed Windows 8 but the game did not start past the login screen. In another word, the launcher worked fine and the login are functioning properly, but past that the game did not run at all. Strangely enough, when I checked the task manager of that time, I saw the process labelled "Sudden Attack ( 32-bit ).exe" shown under the process tab and running at 14.7% of the CPU percentage. I had tried clean boot on Windows 8 and alternating compatibility between Windows XP to Windows 7 but still not avail.

An interesting note: After past the login screen, the GameGuard installation is not initialized.

I'm fairly sure with the following specification, my computer can run this game.
-Intel Core i7-2600K
-ASUSTek P8Z68-V
-4GB Corsair 1333Mhz Ram
-Sapphire Radeon HD 6850

What can I do to get this game able to run again??

Where can I service my Samsung Galaxy Tab P1010?

Let just say my Samsung Galaxy Tab P1010 are physically intact, the main problem lies in the improper firmware update. I used Odin to update the firmware but unfortunately Odin crashed and corrupted Android Froyo. I update the tablet PC but this time using Gingerbread with boot loader. The update failed. The worst mistake is I did not make a backup of the original firmware.

For now, the Samsung Galaxy Tab will boot but there is nothing showing, just the whole screen grayed out. I thinking of sending Samsung Galaxy Tab to Samsung Service to recover the firmware. Fully understand that improper firmware update does not cover in the warranty, I'm ready to fork out some cash on it, just does not know where to do it cheaply. Help me state the shop and the price I need to pay to perform this maintenance.

I live in Cheras but I willing to travel to Lowyat-located district for this.

Could just use the search function but there's none show up for this particular scenario.
