Motorcycle for daily use

Hi All,

I currently have a Suzuki sv650s motorcycle which I use for commuting to work from Putrajaya to KLCC roughly about 35km one way. However I feel like the maintenance cost is too high for daily use and it's too hot and heavy when in traffic especially during rush hour in KL area. On the MEX highway it is totally fine.

I tried commuting using the Yamaha NMAX but on the MEX highway it is just too slow especially when overtaking and tiring but it is very easy to handle in traffic and not so hot. A huge plus of the NMAX is the large storage compartment

I'm looking for something in between, a used motorcycle that can handle highway speeds easily, easy to handle in traffic and maintenance cost not too high. With a budget of 11k, what would be the best option? So far I am eyeing the Kawasaki Ninja 250 or Z250 and planning to add a top box to it. I prefer the faired version as it will be less windy on the MEX highway.

Any other motorcycle that I should consider?
