Asking for opinions for pursuing master(IT) in USA

Hi,

As what the title posted, I've just graduated from KTAR with the twinning program with Campbell U. I was majored in Information System Engineering. I'm really keen to look for an opportunity to pursue my master in USA. Preferably in east cost, or some where near NYC.
Anyone has actually come across situation like this or currently pursuing graduate programs major in IT in USA could share me some info?
I would really like to know which University is the best choice in terms of affordable price and not too low in fame? haha I know this is kinda hard, but any recommendation? Btw, I'm not that rich but posses a kinda good academic profile.

Webservice in flash using flex.

Hi,

I'm new to actionscript, I have tried to consume a webservice that was hosted in asp.net environment inside my action script.
Everything works pretty fine, and even when I publish the project into html, it works flawlessly.

But problem arose when I'm integrating it into a aspx page. Inside the aspx page, it shows that the swf file is successfully loaded but it wont be playing. I guess this is the problem of the webservice consumption. Because, when I skip the steps of consuming webservice, it works just fine.

So my question is, does asp.net need extra configuration to have my swf file's webservice working? like maybe adding references to flex? the references to flex supposingly to be done within my flash project but not asp.net right? Wondering anybody's having idea on this :/

Java calling batch file problem

Hi guys, need java professionals' help here..x.x

I have a program, that will constantly call a batch file in a predefined interval(using Timer class)
Inside the run method, I called the batch file by using this syntax

Runtime.getRuntime().exec("cmd.exe /C batchfile.bat"+" "+params);

where params is the parameters that passed into the batch file. but I faced a problem, where the timer do really executed, as the parameters which I get from a file is not null(everytime 5 secs interval my program will get the parameters from the file, so which means, if it is not null, the timer does actually executed) but the batch file was not called, say for example, I've make my program run for 30 times 5 seconds, and out of 30 times, the batch file was called 27 times. I need to make it 100% accuracy..x.x

anybody having any idea on this?

Some questions on reporting an accident

I kissed a car yesterday, and both parties were decided to report police, but I'm still P license, will it cause my P license being "gantung" ?
and if reporting, the summon will be receiving once after report was made? or after 2 weeks time?

TARc Computer Science Good ?

I've just graduated and wish to study for more in programming, so I'm taking Computer Science..
I wish to enter Taylor but the cost is not allowed me to do so...
so I look for another college, and I found TARC actually is not bad with a affordable cost. With Campbell U's Degree cert the cost is oni cost RM18K[maximum] but the campbell U's degree cert dun have (hons) and i asked the staff in tarc and they told me that campbell is a American U. In with america systems there is no (hons)

wanted to ask whether the staff is wrong or correct ?
Did I choose the right subject if I wish to going on wid programming ?
Anyone studied/studying in tarc with Computer Science and Computer Mathematics ? Can give me some opinion ?
Should I choose UTAR more then TARC ?

[Question] Doggie's problem

I'm a new doggie owner.
I need some help on managing puppy's life...
This problem making me quite stressful and worried because I'm going to have my SPM exam...
I bought my doggie around 2 days.
The first day, she's hyperactive and quite naughty.
the second day, she become lazy and keep on sleeping...
wanna ask whether she's healthy onot if she's lazy and sleep often

[notes: she havent have her vaccine since the dog owner asked me to bring it back and let her adapt to the enviroment b4 her vaccine coz after vaccine she'll b sick]

besides of that, izzit ok to let her stay alone in house more then 5 hours since there's nobody when i m going to school...

[notes: she dislike to stay in her cage...so i might leave her in my living room]

My dog alwiz sneeze...
izzit normal ?

she's smelly even after her bathe...how to solve this problem since my aunty dislike the smell...

o ya.... 1 more extra problem...
its not the router problem coz b4 i change to router, im using dial up modem n i m facing the same problem
n i juz duno y my connection will b slow down after using streamyx for a period [around 30 minutes]
i juz received few bytes from server
this problem causing me cant login to msn or d/c when in game in battlenet after that period[around 30 minutes]
anybody could help me for this problem ?

i m stressful coz of these problems...or i meant i m too noob for fixing it...
