Internet Fibre transfer request

Hi all, currently I am porting out my internet fibre from Viewqwest to Maxis (both of them are using TM Port). From what I heard the procedure should be like this, go to maxis centre get transfer request ID, call old service provider and let them know we want to transfer. AFter they approved, then they will let TM know (5 days processing time) to transfer the port back to TM. Then within 20 days (maximum), TM will monitor and check with the port and if everything okay, they will release the port to maxis and maxis installation team will come gao dim the rest.

But then main problem is why my older service provider cut off my internet that goddam early ? After they released back the port to TM my account is then terminated, then for the rest of 25 days i have nothing to use. Viewqwest (old service provider) told us they have to terminate the service to release the port to TM. But Maxis told us normally that TM would hold the port (still under Viewqwest) first without terminating the service until everything settled and terminate on the day they release the port.

If they have to cut off the internet that early, what is point of transfer request? (I know it is to secure the port). Wouldn't it be better we just sign up maxis home fibre and wait for the port and terminate the service after we get a new port (have to wait i guess), at least the internet still usable. I am currently WFH so yeah it is really frustrating.

The question is did anyone porting out from other service providers other than TM before? (I know TM only cut off the internet after everything is settled) Did anyone of you experiencing the same thing before, what did you do? Did maxis gave out wrong info on this (confirmed with them twice before transfer no service interruption will happens) or Viewqwest just trying to fk us up. Also, my bad for not asking properly with the old service provider but they never giving out notice for the termination anyway.

1) Installation day (13th November 2019) : Appointment at 2.30pm Waited 1 hours for the technician to come (cannot come but no call from that dude) 3.30pm: I need to call myself, then they say someone else will come at 4.00 pm ( waited for another half an hour) (Need to call myself again! Technician: cant find my house, no problem, guide him like a lost lamb). 4.50 (reached) During installation, the technician told me im using old modem need to change, so my current speed only achievable to 100mbps, they will request new modem from TM and I just need to call my sales person and update her. ( no problem (temporary) I can wait, although the sales person should be the one who supposed to confirm my equipments and everything before the installation )
2) Payment: Told my sales person not gonna pay until the modem is settled (invoice came on the same day), doggy payment style (BANK IN only, 2019 wtf.)
3) Speed throttle: Best shit of my life ( line activated on the same installation day) > My initial expectation: Upgrade from 30mpbs (maxis/astro) to 300 mbps (Viewqwest) 10X speed (nice) In reality: Getting 8-9 mbps !!! Equivalent to 1mb/s dl speed. Last time with maxis constant dl speed (3mb/s) . Speed throttle how? Initial dl speed 5-6 mb/s then drop till 1mb/s (promised to have at least 100mbps internet (old modem)) (Speed check their server 70-80 mpbs, public server like speedtest.net (10-40 mpbs), testmy.net (8-9mbps<<more accurate usual dl speed 1mb +/- 300kb/s)
4) Customer service/Technician support: Never (emphasized) pick up calls. Need to call my sales person all the freaking time.
5) Updates : NONE, 0 calls and need to call myself (AGAIN) (asked the sales person: TM no call you?, But I already email them wor! Complained about the speed throttle: (I pass my boss (manager) contact to you, you talk to him ( call yourself):|). Their manager reaction : 0 idea what is happening from the whole situation and asked me to explain the whole situation again!! (no communication at all with his subordinate). His solution: Will email their GM.
Conclusion after < 1 week subscription (19th November 2019): 300mbps but only getting 10 mbps < ( that is freaking less than 30 times of the subscribed speed ffs) Will terminate soon and if they charged me for the contract penalties, then i will complain to MCMC

Hotlink prepaid call rates

Hi guys, i made a call to other network recently and Hotlink charged rate was pretty ridiculous, just abt 1 and half mins 0.78 sens gone. Is it normal? I didn't actually paid attention to the call rate until recently my credits consuming was pretty fast. Thank you

Urine in blood!

Hey there, my father actually has Polycystic Kidney and Liver Disease found in 10 years ago. He accidentally fell down from bike last saturday. He did not feel any pain with him when he was trying to get up, the problem is he got bloody urine. So we sent him to hospital and did a ct scan, they couldn't find out which part of organ was bleeding. They said most probably the cyst broke and caused the bleeding and asked us to wait until it stops and recover by itself, but I do have a friend who is a doctor. He said it is impossible that a ct scan couldn't detect it, if the cyst broke. So i'm worrying that is there any other internal organs will cause this problem or the hospital didn't scan it nicely? For sincerely, your reply is much appreciated!
Ps: My father did feels pain somewhere the upwards of left kidney when he tried to have a deep breath.

Local Uni

Hi guys, I plan to pursue my Bsc Physics in either local uni or Singapore.. Due to financial problem i'll not be able to go to overseas's uni like Uk or Us. USM, UTAR or maybe NUS if possible? So I'm just want to know is that possible enter top overseas's uni like Cambridge, CALTECH, MIT or even Harvard maybe? for my master Of coz assume that if i can score extremely well in my degree with good recommendation letter . Will they accept me? or is there any applicants that have successfully got offered or entered top unis with above mentioned uni's degree cert?

I have graduated from high school last year and i'm planning to get a physics degree after my a levels..due to financial prob so it seems hard for me to go oversea unless i get scholarship. but i realised that it's quite hard to find a local uni which offered physics degree and was globally recognized.. since i'm doing a-levels so i dont think i could enter um and etc..
So is there any advice for me that which uni i can go for my physics degree..try list out those uni's name (low cost or famous uni for achieving physics degree if possible) and website for more reference

Art stream change to Science stream

Hello there, i'm a student that just graduated with Art stream from secondary school by this year.I'm fking regret that i didn't took Science stream when i was Form 3 because of my immature attitudes and now i like to go for physics degree so i have to go for A-levels afterward go to NUS.But all uni and colleges don't approve those students that didn't took science subjects in SPM. So i planned to retake for SPM with Physics and Chemistry, BUT Datuk Seri Hishammuddin Tun Hussein this fella said nowadays malaysian is only able to take 10+2 subjects for SPM ,so i planned to go for Foundation in Science but this program is just like A-levels too i scared i wasted my time with it.....i have no idea what should i do now ? is there any colleges that having (FIS) just like syllabus of Form 4 or Form 5 that i can approve for A-levels?

hello guys..i'm very interested on astronomy so i wondering to get adp in inti but i having finance problem for going overseas so i plan to get degree m.s n phd of physics in usm or um ...but i have no idea is the certificate of the phd is globally recognised a not?anyone help ?

hello guys..now this is the problems...i wan to study archaeology but there is no offers from any of malaysia's uni or cllg...so i planning to go overseas but i don't knw where to study and i also having financial prob too. so if going to form 6 wt subjects shld i take for ?beside tat, can any 1 of u can recommend some overseas's uni and the minimum fees pls ~~
