Extra-curricular Activities

Let's say I do STPM as private candidate and manage to score well.

Obviously, because I take it as private candidate, I don't have any extra-curricular activities for the year I take STPM as private candidate.
My question is:
If I apply for scholarship using my STPM(private candidate) result,will they accept it if I fill in the extra-curricular activities section with extra-curricular activities that I did during my form 4 and 5?

What are your thoughts on these two situations?

Situation Number One:
A 21 years old guy takes STPM as private candidate and manage to score pointer at least 3.8+
(1)Does he have a chance to get scholarship and continue further study in local universities? How?
(2)Does he have a chance to get scholarship and continue further study in overseas universities? How?

Situation Number Two:
A diploma student studying Diploma in Mechanical Engineering. If he manage to score pointer 3.8+,
does he have a chance to pursue engineering degree in overseas universities? How?

I'm going to Politeknik in Kuching of Sarawak to do Diploma in Mechanical Engineering this 27th of November.

Please:
1. give me any information on Mechanical Engineering in general.
2. tell me about the course structure and syllabus, what I'm going to learn in Mechanical Engineering
3. tell me career prospect in Mechanical Engineering
4. tell me what books should I buy for the course study

Additional question: If I do Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, am I gonna learn about Physical Chemistry(Pre-U text), Physics(Pre-U text), and Mathematics(Pre-U text)?

Anyone has heard of this game?
It's awesome!
I was bored one day with nothing to do and therefore I decided to surf the web to find good MMORPG to play to kill my boredom. I googled "Latest MMORPG" and soon stumbled upon the name "Blade and Soul" on a list. I searched it on Youtube and then stumbled upon one of its videos.

At the very first sight of it I was impressed by its awesome combat. Its combat is just so fantastic that I felt like I was watching a Kung Fu movie rather than an MMORPG's video. The combat looks very realistic and energetic. Every reflex flashes a gorgeous move, every swing stimulates battle adrenaline, every motion successfully orchestrates a martial arts melody. Immediately after watching the video I decided that I gotta play this game! But then soon afterwards I came to learn that it's not available yet! Oh poor me, looks like I still gotta wait for it... :/

I was science stream student in SPM. I didn't get credit for Biology, Chemistry, Physics and Additional Mathematics but my dream is to study Biology, Physics and Chemistry in my tertiary education. I wanna study science again and and I think this time I've really changed for the better!! My dream is to take A-Level Science, or take Diploma in Science or take Pre-Diploma in Science in UiTM. My dream is to study pure science subjects. I really really wanna do pure science course..

But..

I wanna study A-Level Science, but not enough money.
I wanna study Diploma in Science, but my application to UiTM failed.
I wanna study Pre-Diploma in Science, but my application to UiTM failed.

And now..

My brother has decided for me to take Foundation of Management in Universiti Tun Abdul Razak.

But..

I'm not interested in that course.
I don't know about that course.
I still want to study science.

So what do you all think?

Should I forget my dream to study pure science course?
Should I take Foundation of Management?
What's my future in Foundation of Management?
And do you have any advice regarding my situation now?

Please give me some feedback..Help appreciated..

I've heard that there are types of loan that can be converted into scholarship.
Can anyone explain to me about it? What loans can be converted into scholarship and how and why it is converted into scholarship?
