BHP budi quota salahan?

Morning I have 114L left (according to bhp), refueled 9.5L, so balance of 105L+- is accurate in terms of deduction.

But my TNG ewallet and setel both show I have 197L, which is actually correct as I personally keep track of my fuel expenses.

I noticed bhp has been displaying wrong figure the entire month. Are they not aware of that? Anyone else noticed the same?

P/s: other petrol station brands display the same as setel and TNG. Only bhp is different.

I have drills but I'm too arsed to upload them, later LYN image uploader Kasi senget senget again. Cb

So rempits of /k/ and rempit haters, I've recently acquired my new bike for daily commute.

It's a Kawasaki Ninja ZX25RR.

250cc, inline-4. Bunyi sampai dulu.

Fuel consumption is excellent, about 17-20km/L. some would argue a kapchai can do better, yes that's true, my 1986 2-stroker Yamaha Y80 can do 50km/L, thereabout, because weekly I only refuel 1.5-2L petrol after covering about 60-70km distance. Daily return journey 13km max.

Haven't done first service since my office is so near, but I've clocked about 500km now.

KUALA LUMPUR, Sept 3 — The government should amend the Dewan Bahasa dan Pustaka Act to give the department enforcement powers against property developers that use non-Malaysian names for their projects, said former prime minister Datuk Seri Ismail Sabri Yaakob.

He said this would make Dewan Bahasa dan Pustaka the correct enforcers to pursue what he deemed to be abuses of the Malay language, and eliminate overlaps with local authorities.

According to Free Malaysia Today, Ismail complained that developers were increasingly using French and Spanish names for their developments instead of Malaysian-related ones.

“They (DBP) cannot impose fines on these developers, which is why I feel it should be empowered,” he was quoted as saying at the third “Simposium Antarabangsa Aspirasi Bahasa Melayu” here.

Ismail Sabri also said the government should require the private sector to use Malay for all official purposes, in order to elevate the national language’s standing both locally and abroad.

Among others, he suggested that the government only respond to invitations sent in Malay and to conduct events using the national language even when hosting international guests.

Foreign guests could follow along with speeches in Malay with the aid of translators or subtitles, he said.

“We start first with the government and then we get the private sector. When the private sector invites us to open a programme, it has to be on our terms,” he was quoted as saying by national news agency Bernama.

KUALA PILAH: A 52-year-old man claimed trial at the Sessions Court here on Wednesday (July 24) to two counts of raping his daughter.

The father, who is a rubber tapper, pleaded not guilty after the charges were read out to him before Judge Norma Ismail.

For the first charge, he was accused of raping the girl, who was 19 years old at the time, at around 10.30pm between November and December 2019 at a house in Gemencheh.

For the second charge, he allegedly committed the offence at the same house on July 8 this year.

The accused was charged under Section 376B of the Penal Code which carries a jail term of between 10 years and 30 years and whipping upon conviction.

Deputy Public Prosecutor Norazihah Asmuni offered the accused bail of RM10,000 with one surety for each offence.
She also asked the court to order the accused to stay away from the victim.

When Judge Norma asked the accused if he wished to appeal for a lower bail, the accused said he did not.

Norma then fixed bail at RM10,000 with one surety for each offence and ordered the accused not to contact the victim.

She set Aug 26 for next mention.

Police arrested the accused on July 14 after the victim's aunt lodged a police report alleging the rapes.

Police said the victim, who is a slow learner, had also given birth to a baby girl, who is now four.

The victim is the oldest of four siblings.

The proposed upgrade to the pedestrian walkway from Phileo Damansara MRT station to nearby Section 16 residential and commercial areas in Petaling Jaya, Selangor, is expected to benefit more than 1,000 commuters daily.

Currently, commuters have to walk on the road or by the roadside in certain stretches to get home or reach the commercial buildings.

The lack of a proper footpath along Jalan 16/15 and parts of Jalan 16/11 poses a problem for pedestrians trying to get to either the houses or Phileo Damansara 1 and 2.

With the upgrade that is expected to start this month, residents and those working in the area will no longer have to dice with danger walking to or from the station.

The move is set to improve the area’s walkability, giving commuters a safe path for first and last mile connectivity.

Syed Saddiq seeks passport release to attend wedding, Taiwan visit

Muar Member of Parliament (MP) Syed Saddiq Syed Abdul Rahman has filed an application seeking temporary release of his passport to enable him to go to Singapore and Taiwan.

In his supporting affidavit which was attached to the notice of motion filed on May 8, Syed Saddiq said he wanted to go to Singapore to attend a wedding ceremony of his close friend’s daughter on May 18.

The MP said wanted to accept the invitation of his friend George Yeo Yong-Boon, who is the former Minister of Foreign Affairs of Singapore, as the latter had always given him advice and guidance on how to be a politician with integrity.

In the affidavit sighted by Bernama, Syed Saddiq also said he was invited as one of Malaysia’s representatives by Taipei Economic and Cultural Office In Malaysia to visit Taiwan from June 10 until June 15.
Court of Appeal deputy registrar Muhammad Noor Firdaus Rosli set May 15 to hear his application. A case management was held before him today.

Deputy public prosecutor Datuk Wan Shaharuddin Wan Ladin, when contacted by Bernama, confirmed the hearing date for Syed Saddiq’s application.

On Nov 9 last year, Syed Saddiq was sentenced to seven years jail and fined RM10 million and two strokes of the cane by the High Court in Kuala Lumpur after being found guilty of four charges for criminal breach of trust, misappropriation of funds and money laundering. He filed an appeal to the Court of Appeal on the same day.

Syed Saddiq, 31, a former Youth and Sports minister from 2018 to 2020, was charged with abetting former Armada assistant treasurer Rafiq Hakim Razali, who was entrusted with RM1 million of Armada’s funds, to commit criminal breach of trust by misappropriating the funds.

He was also charged with misappropriating RM120,000 from Armada Bumi Bersatu Enterprise’s Maybank Islamic Bhd account by making Rafiq dispose of the money.

For the two charges framed under Section 4(1)(b) of the Anti-Money Laundering, Anti-Terrorism Financing and Proceeds of Unlawful Activities Act 2001 (AMLATFPUAA) Syed Saddiq was accused of laundering money via transactions of RM50,000 each, believed to be proceeds from unlawful activities, from his Maybank Islamic Bhd account into his Amanah Saham Bumiputera account in a bank at Jalan Persisiran Perling, Taman Perling, Johor Baru, on June 16 and 19, 2018.

The High Court allowed Syed Saddiq’s application for a stay of the execution of all sentences pending appeal. His appeal is fixed for case management on May 14. - BERNAMA

Neighbours who witnessed this called the police, who deployed divers to search for the boy in the water, but to no avail, as the darkness hindered their operations.

They returned on Sunday morning and found the child's body, which showed bite marks all over.

The boy suffered severe injuries and was missing a hand, which a police officer suggested indicated that the boy was mauled to death by one or more crocodiles.

A post mortem has been ordered to determine the six-year-old's cause of death.

The couple also has another son aged two and is said to frequently fight about their older son's speech impediment.

Officers have launched an investigation into the incident.

How to prevent slippery toilet floor?

My toilet floor/tile needs to be scrubbed every day otherwise there would be those slippery layer.

Because of the slippery layer, I had a fall yesterday knocking my head and butt and had to go to A&E.

Looking to prevent this by applying something on the floor, instead of anti-slip mats as I don't want more physical items.

PUTRAJAYA - The police have confirmed an incident involving a package with a bomb threat message discovered at the cargo scanner of the Kuala Lumpur International Airport (KLIA) with investigations finding it did not contain any explosives.

KLIA District Police chief Assistant Commissioner Azman Shari'at said further investigations were still being conducted in accordance with Section 506 of the Penal Code for criminal threat.

He said the police received a report at 1.30pm from the officer operating the scanning machine about a package addressed to someone in Limbang, Sarawak.

He said the scanned package was believed to contain a battery and some wires, and a check by the officer found words written on the package stating: "Beware, do not throw or it will explode”.
"The police immediately conducted an investigation. Detection using dogs from the K-9 unit found it negative for explosives," he said when contacted here yesterday.

Due to the threat message on the package, Azman said following the standard operating procedure (SOP), the Bomb Disposal Unit was called in and the package was destroyed using a robotic unit, with no explosion occurring.

MELAKA: A 38-year-old man who went into hiding for three months after allegedly raping and impregnating his teenage daughter has finally been caught.

State police chief Deputy Comm Datuk Zainol Samah said the suspect was arrested in Kampung Kelemak Dalam at midnight on Tues (Feb 6).

He said police launched a manhunt for the suspect, a labourer, after a Melaka Hospital medical officer lodged a police report last October after discovering that a 16-year-old patient had been raped.

DCP Zainol said the suspect has a criminal record of six drug-related offences.

He said the victim initially sought treatment at the Durian Tunggal Health Clinic here on Oct 11, 2023.

DCP Zainol added that clinic staff discovered the teenager was pregnant and referred her to the Melaka Hospital on the same day. She gave birth to a girl on Feb 5.
He said the suspect has been remanded for a week to assist the investigation under Section 376(3) of the Penal Code.
