I should mention also, the item have a minor defect (the LCD screen inventer connector abit loose I guess) sometimes just sometimes.. u will see some reddish colour on the screen. but after you tilt the lcd its comeback to normal.

After couple day browsing through "Casing & Modification" thread I notice that, there is none for XIGMATEK Chasis yet.
The company has produce few Chasis for consumer to choose from; "Midgard, Asgard & current latest is Utgard series.

I bought mine couple day before CNY Festival: (actually my intention was to get myself a Lancool Dragon Lord K62) browsing through Low Yat & Imbi Plaza, my eye caught the UTGARD series displaying @ one of Famous Imbi Retailer shop. After a brief of discussion with the sale personnel & giving me the chances to fiddling & peek the inner side of the chasis, I decided to get one for myself.

XIGMATEK Philosophy is I.C.E = Impressive | Creative | Essential

My chasis came with pre-installed 2 x 12cm (front & rear) orange white led fan & 1 x 17cm (top) orange white led fan.
To compliment the chasis I got my self 2 x 12cm CM Green led fans (90cfm). The Front I/O panel came with 2 E-sata, 4 USB, Audio in/out & 2 knobs Fan controller.
Xigmatek also provide 4 water pipes hole for Liquid cooling for this chasis. Screw less tooling for 5.25' bay & expansion slot installation.

-The 2 Knobs Fan controller " in writting based from the Xigmatek site" is RPM speed control knobs for six fans. Even so, the 2nd Knobs (B knobs) I just can't make it work, perhaps its faulty.
-The so called screw less tooling for expansion slot, I slot in my ATI Radeon 4650 its seems unstable, even after fiddling with for almost 15 minutes, its just doesn't seems to grasp solid & stable. so I decided to screw it with a small nut rather than used the palstic clip holder.

Other than that, the case seems pretty much ok, the airflow are good & the case are rock solid steady. (its weight 9.3Kg tho)

Sorry for the picture quality tho, I haven't get my Digital Camera yet (still lurking for one tho).
Don't mind the cacing tho, I'm too lazy to do cable management.

Automated Software Deployment

Hi all,

Need some input / assistance, in regard of Automated Software Deployment.

Current looking at : open source automated windows software deployment http://wpkg.org/Screenshots

Detail:

Looking to do silent installation to 150 client pc Windows XP pro SP3 based. from one host also Windows XP pro SP3 based.

Task to perform;
To update all client pc to latest version of application i.e firefox 3.0 to 3.5ver.
to remove unwanted application / removed old version of application
to sync / remote all client pc tru one host.

all task perform tru network with 10/100MB speed capacity.

I appreciate it some input on the WKPG software mention or any other Automated Software Deployment.

WKPG software (open source).
I has download the server & client installer & managed to make it connected or query each other. But I failed to make the software deployment to work.
perhaps the command line that I input is wrong.
should any other sifu out there willing to give some input , am truly grateful .

only used few times for testing. Yesterday nite test on a new Rig, mobo give 3 beeps sound. (memory failure)
Tested with one stick & with different slot, result is the same
Tested with 2 differ mobo Intel DG31PR & DG35EC result is the same.

If anybody can assist me or point the way to which location should I send this RAM for RMA I would appreciate it.

I want to inquiry if any body could help me I would appreciate it.

This morning I got up & try to assemble some of the new Hardware I got from last week.

Spec:

Pro: Xeon 3110 Socket 775 3Ghz 6BM L2 cache 1333 Mhz FSB, 45nm (SLAPM) Batch Q807A091
Mobo: Intel Board Classic series DG31PR (my spare board)
Ram: OCZ GOLD Series Twin Kit 2GB PC6400 800Mhz 5-5-5-15
GFX Card: Gainward ATI 4670HD 512MB DDR3 128bit
PSU: Silverstone SST560W
DVRW: Panasonic Sata Interface
LCD: BenQ E2200HD
4 Vizo UVLED Fan 12cm
2 8CM UV fan

Problem:

After assemble trying to start up the pc, everything running the fans, the psu, dvdrw except the its wont post, I cant even get into bios.
My LCD said not Signal, cable not connecting, even I has change from DVI cable to VGA cable, and try switching from GFX card port to onboard VGA
still no Signal and My LCD said no cable detecting.

Question:
I has browse tru, in regard of the Intel Board DG31PR, its stated its support 45nm proc and wofdale procs. (in Intel website)
Is there any chances that my Board could not recognise the micro-code of Xeon 3110?
Does any one in here has use Xeon 3110 pair with any other board that used Intel Chipset 31, P35 & P45?

I would really appreciate it if any one could isolate the root of the problem I'm facing now.
also I forgot to mention, while trying to start up the PC, even my mouse (logitech MX518 & my keyboard) not indicating its light .

Most of the time this current setup when reboot always get BSOD.

message on BSOD: DRIVER_IRQL_not_less_or_Equal.

so any sifu's here can help me on this matter, either its hardware or driver of the hardware? I need confirmation Isn't it relating to PCI slot?
