Stage 0 Breast Cancer

More keen to find out from medical personnel from Government or Semi Government hospital:

Diagnose: DCIS - Ductal Carcinoma In Situ (Stage 0 Breast Cancer)
Remarks: Non invasive, surrounding tissue is normal.
Patient age: 58
Size of lesion: 6mm x 7mm x 4mm
Lumpectomy size: 4.5cm x 3cm x 2cm

After going through Lumpectomy and removed the lesion, the doctor at P***** Hospital suggest to go for:

1) Mastectomy (Total removal)
2) 2nd Lumpectomy (Remove bigger area tissue)
3) Radiation therapy

The doctor actively promote for another surgical procedure either with option (1) or (2), citing that most patient with similar diagnose will opt for these and removal of the organ will gave patient a peace of mind.

Personally, Option (1) & (2) seems like overkill at this stage. Any advise from experienced patient/family, medical personnel?

How to value a company car in your Salary Package

When some company offer a company car which fully covered on maintenance, petrol, toll, insurance, road tax and etc by the company (For both business & private use). How much does it really add value to your package?

For instance, a Honda Civic is provided:

RM 18,000 p.a (Installment)
RM 12,000 p.a (Fuel)
RM 3,600 p.a (Toll)
RM 1,000 p.a (Insurance)
RM 150 p.a (Road tax)
RM 2,000 p.a (Maintenance)

Total = RM 36,750?

Is there any other way to evaluate it or it does not add value at all?

Some question about recruitment consultant

let say the consultant require referees before offering the remuneration package, is it a norm or it should be done the other way round. (i.e propose the package first, if you like it, then only gip referee.)

anyone with previous experience dealing with the recruitment consultant?
