System boot loop after install new ram

Hi, currently i'm experiencing boot loop after installing a new ram that i bought from shopee.

here is some context;
-previously running was kingston 1333mhz ddr3 2x4gb
-motherboard model is Gigabyte b75m-d3v
-ram bought from shopee is Kingston HyperX fury 1866mhz ddr3 2x8gb

when i first received the ram, it worked on my rig, the next day, when i turned on the PC, the boot looping happened. I've tried to diagnose the ram, by trying to use it on my other rig with ddr3 mobo (Asus maximus vii ranger). The same thing happen and it kept on boot looping. So it couldn't be the ram slot right? Anyways, to double confirm, i tested my previously working ram (2x4gb kingston) in the Gigabyte b75m-d3v and it worked.

So my question is, is the ram i bought faulty, or is there some setting in my BIOS that i didn't set? Because i went into my bios setting, there isn't much options there other than setting the ram speed. It was set to auto.

Currently, i'm trying to request a refund from the seller, but the seller is refusing to do so, saying that he tested the ram before sending out and there is zero chance the ram is at fault

Can anyone guide me to ethernet my entire house?

Hello LYN, i plan to hardwire my whole entire house with ethernet and got a few question to ask;

I'm new to this networking stuff, Please forgive me for some of the terminology that i use and lack of understanding in this area.

Firstly i have 4 area to put an ethernet socket

1) Guest room
2) Living Hall
3) Office
4) Master room

my modem & router from Maxis is currently situated in my gaming room. What i plan to do is;
Buy a few network switches, and ethernet socket with input and output, and wire it up in this manner. Honestly, i'm also a little confused with what i just drew, but i think it might work.

what do you guys think of this? or is my diagram and logic way off? Please let me know so i can make the correct steps.

Some noob question;
Can network switch have input and output? like shown in the diagram? because i don't know how else to daisy chain my ethernet cable from a single source. unless i have to wire out 4 ethernet cable for each network switch?

My friend wants to borrow 5k SGD to settle his rent and monthly bills, he said his employer cut his salary and he is suffering now in SG. I ask him, why need so much, he said his commitment quite high, but didn't tell me in details what his commitments are. We are friends since primary school, he left to SG to work in f&b industry in his early 20s. now we are around our late 20s. I'm also quite close to his parents and keep in contact with them after he left for SG.

5k for me is quite alot btw , i only use around 3k MYR a month for my expenses.

should i just lend him the money and have some faith or tell him the bad news?

Price wrote there 18k, straight ask me 11k which is 38% discount of original price? i mean, there are a few poeple who low ball me, but they ask me nicely and say, if you agree with my price, please call me. This guy straight up say, "can't let go at 11k huh?"

btw, my price is not absurd, it is following the market value

is there any fun car out there under 40k? here are some requirements

1) relatively cheap to run
2) NA/Turbo no problem
3) Strong and safe chassis (wife requirement)
4) Manual only
5) Prefer cornering > straight line speed, but if have both, why not?
6) Cash buyer

what is in my mind now is Suzuki Swift Sport ZC31S, is there any cars that didn't slip through my mind? pls let me know yea

double story terrace, only single person living. is this too high for electric?

last month bill(Sept) around rm350. (didn't turn off light at all in kitchen/ bathroom/ porch lights for whole night until morning).
My heavy usage consist of:
1) Gaming PC 24/7 (650W PSU) and got triple 24inch screen 24hour on only sleep mode when working or sleeping,
2) aircon 1hp everyday (12hour) except when go out for makan/work
3) induction stove & electric kettle (1-2 hour a day)
4) Fridge & washing machine
5) Didn't turn off light at all in kitchen/ bathroom/ porch lights for whole night until morning.

This month try to save abit,so my bill went down to rm200, which is rm150 decrease. I did that by,

1) only on lights at my pc area which consist of 2 12v philips power saving light bulb
seldom on toilet and kitchen light unless got use

Other things still maintain same usage:
1) PC & Aircon (1hp) still maintain same usage
2) induction stove & electric kettle
3) fridge & washing machine

is there any way to cut down without going too extreme?

PTPTN question

Guys, i took a ptptn loan when i'm in diploma which was semester 3(2010 Jan) They only manage to pay me for 2 sems, which is sem 3 and 4, but i didn't take sem 5 ,6 , and 7 because my cgpa was not high enough to qualify for the loan. Now im suppose to finish my course d, But since i failed a few subjects, the course has extended to 2 more semester, which is sem 8 and 9. My question is, can i still qualify for the loan even tho my course is already over and this is my differed sem?

Finally, i have save up enough cash to buy a satria gti/r3, second hand la.. year 2005. Price around 30-45k... ayam poor fag jek, only can buy malaysia budget sports hatch. Anywys, my question is, should i buy it? My house only can fit 2 car. and the 2 car is my mom and my sis car.. so basicly, my house got no place to park inside, i scared my "future car" will get stolen if i park it outside. But i can't ask my mom and sis park outside too, because dangerous for them... what should i do?? im really like that car!

hey guys, im currently in a diploma program. My cgpa for 3 semesters have been under 2.0 . And i admit i have been seriously underpeforming. This is because of me, mainly im a lazy guy. Today, when i was about to register for a new semester. The DO told me that i was in the exclusion list and i may get kicked out from UNI. This is very saddening for me, as this year (2012) i have made a decision to get A's in all my subject. I am a lazy guy, and i dont mind going for just pass, But that was the older me. Seriously, if i wanna do something, i can excel in it. I have seen my self doing it last year, with other stuff. Just that im very lazy in my studies. I wanna make a change this year, but today i receive a bad news from the UNI.

Im had a talk with the councelor, he said, i have to write a letter to appeal to the Dean. Im not sure how do i construct my letter as my mind is very confused now. Pls help me guys

any land rover fans here? i want to ask u guys, why is this car so expensive in the 2nd hand market? 1991 unit cost around 20-30k, a refurbished unit will cost as much as 100k.

May i know what so good about this car? because im now looking for a car to go for a offroad adventure, then my friend told me about this because alot of people in the cameron highlands use this cars for their work horse. So i need to know what is so good about this car .

guys, i have a friend selling me a rexton 3.2 litter petrol. But before that, i need to know what are the problems this car usually have? the 3.2 is the highest spec with leather seats, sunroof and bla....(im not too sure either about the specs)

all i know about the car is, its 3.2 liter, 2003 And my friend is letting it go for a reasonable price. Any owners here care to give some insight about this car? The thing i like about this car, is the merc engine and hopefully it is as quiet as a merc also
