NA square enix is having a spring clearance sale until 8th May 2017 and FF14 is in the list but offgamer/seagm FF14 EU time card is cheaper although out of stock now, not sure if they r going to stock in again??? so should i go EU FF14 which is cheaper in long run (assume offgamer/seagm still stocking in EU time card) or NA which is cheaper game now but more expensive time card ???

btw NA region still dont support our credit / debit card?? according to Newbie Handbook pinned thread

I'm SSH newbie and today i trying to setup a cloud instance on AWS EC2, basically i installed everything i need but there is an error bugging me

Here is the case, i was trying to allow apache user to write file through php function that was predefined by Symfony2.

So i changed file permission as well as ownership

Here is what my Putty shows me, ls -l:
drwxrwxrwx+ 3 apache apache 31 Nov 27 04:23 cache

then when i try to run my script, this error appear:
RuntimeException: Failed to write cache file "/home/username/public_html/projectsymfony/app/cache/dev/classes.php".

For those who dunno anything about what Symfony2 is trying to do, basically the php script was trying to create a file called classes.php

p.s. i already allow inbound and outbound request on my security configuration

im using apache 2.4, centOs, Symfony 2.4, AWS EC2 cloud platform

file_get_contents php problem

im facing a problem when im trying to get string from a text file.

i use file_get_contents method to retrieve every string in the text file.

this is how my string in text file looks like:
ReviewID|FoodName|Restaurant|Address|Postcode|

but file_get_contents return me:
��R e v i e w I D | F o o d N a m e | R e s t a u r a n t | A d d r e s s | P o s t c o d e |

the result giving me special characters as well as spacing between every character.

any helps will be very much appreciate.

hi guys, may i know is there any else 1 stop forum or website for Malaysia mobile app developers or reviewers except lowyat.net forum? especially iOS platform, im trying to find out more information or share by local developer or reviewer in Malaysia (well at least im living in Malaysia, so trying to know more in case i missed out), it seems like the only active online community in Malaysia is lowyat.net forum =.=...

i know website like stackoverflow, code project, google groups etc can give me more but for me, im more comfortable to communicate or exchange information with local ppl

crystal report crosstab problem

im facing a problem regarding grand total column generated by crosstab on crystal report.

i got a monthly sales report that is with 30 days of sales amount but due to 30 days of column can actually exceed an landscape size of A4 paper. Therefore, i make it into 10 days a page through groups and here comes the prob.

this is how crystal report show me:

wider coverage wireless router suggestion

good days to every seniors

my friend asked me to suggest him a wider coverage wireless router due to his desktop (with USB wireless adapter) often disconnections.

his house is a 3 layer land property while the router is placed on 1st floor and his desktop is on 3rd floor. i think its maybe the router wireless coverage arent strong enough.

somemore he is using USB wireless adapter (i dont think it got better detection than wireless dedicated card, am i right??)

the router he using already > 5 or 6 years (i think so, not sure tho)

the processor of sgs3 and htc one x are meant to be quad-core but wat i heard from my senior that actually malaysia version of these 2 phone is still maintaining dual-core processor due to quad core jz recently release on europe country.

can any seniors here pls answer my question??

im a junior programmer which has been using .net framework for almost 1+ years, i found my interests toward mobile application development, i decided to study and learn mobile platform before its too late for me to adapt.

can any senior mobile developers here just to guide me a few things:
1. what programming languages are more suitable to do the development?
2. what SDK / framework is much likely to cross btw iOS and android platform? (i have heard objective C is the one that used to develop iOS apps but i believe there are others framework still able to do cross platform purpose)
3. slightly guide me the way to begin my study (im the one who are kinda easy to lost myself, lolz)

ps. im interested more on android platform

any reply will be very much appreciated

trigger problem sql server

hi guys, i got some questions regarding to Trigger in SQL Server.

I used Trigger to reinsert an inserted row to another database. Here comes the senario,

my table unique identifier is an auto number field. I wanna pass the exactly same value to another database's table. but i actually not sure whether the auto number generated on another table is same with the inserted row??

at first, i wanna apologies because im still a newbie in Transact-SQL. Anything inappropriate statement or misleading caused, please forgive me >.<...

For example:-
1. There are 2 database with exactly same schema and tables (everything in these 2 database is same). Lets called it [Database1] and [Database2].
2. There is a table with columns "A" (auto number field aka unique identifier), "B" (varchar) "C" (varchar) in both database. Lets called it [Table1].
3. I had written an AFTER INSERT Trigger to [Database1].[Table1] which will pass the inserted row to [Database2].[Table1]
4. I executed an INSERT query to [Database1].[Table1] with values {1 (auto number), 'a', 'b'}. So the Trigger executed and my [Database2].[Table1] will receive the exactly same values which are {1 (auto number), 'a', 'b'}.

Here comes my questions. Lets say there are more than 1 user executed INSERT query to [Database1].[Table1], will [Database2].[Table1] receive same value from every inserted rows? will there any delays between the Trigger executions?

What im actually afraid is the result will become like below:

1 'a' 'a'
2 'b' 'b'
3 'c' 'c'
4 'd' 'd'

[DatabaseB].[Table1]
A B C
1 'b' 'b'
2 'a' 'a'
3 'c' 'c'

as u all can see, {'a', 'a'} is suppose to be insert first before {'b', 'b'}, but due to some circumstances or any unknown reason or any delay, {'b', 'b'} insert first before {'a', 'a'}...

Will the result above happen in Trigger insert row with auto number field?

HDD problem!

Hi, guys

Recently, i formatted my desktop and upgraded it into window 7. After the upgrades, my desktop started to running weird on its BIOS. Every time i start up my desktop, the boot agent shows me an error "PXE-53 Error: No boot filename received" and i cant get into window. So i got no choice and restart my PC. After the restart, everything going fine and i can get into the window as well.

This problem really pissed my off. Therefore, i went to check my BIOS and i found that my BIOS didnt detect my SATA HDD. My HDD can only be detected after i restart my PC.

These are several actions i had taken:
**replug my HDD cable to my main board
**repair with window 7 disk
**change my boot order by having my HDD 1st

Now, my PC started to get even worse... sometime required me to restart 2 times to get into window or i even get into BIOS and load optimized default then it only works.

From the situation above, can anyone help me to get through this problem T_T? i dun wan to restart my PC everything i turned on...
