Digi Discover Day 4GB or 3GB?

Hi,

I subscribed the Digi Discover Day plan for 4Gb, but when i check the myinternet.com.my...it says 3GB. I tried calling the Digi Customer service, they said that i got 4gb but the record is 3gb..

I called 2 times, first they said i get 4gb permanently, then the next day i called they said i got 4gb but it won't last long, therefore will be reverted to 3gb after the promotion....Could someone tell me which one is true? I even cut off my old Digi bband and subsribed the new one as they say i'll get 4gb in the promotion...

Hi bro and sis LYN.Net! I'm currently looking for good guitar under RM600 and went looking at mudah.my, there's a seller named qwenkay sells a santanu brand guitar sub of Fanndec. I didn't budge until i looked at the joint neck which looks like a set neck construction!

So, after a while learning guitar, i knew my style is moore towards bluesy les pauls.. so, yeah...i'm changin' mah style bro~

Does this roller nut will be okay in my guitar?

I went to Ebay Malaysia i found a MightyMite Roller Nut for $9 which means RM30.

In your opinion, is it okay for me to replace my guitar's plastic nut with this roller nut? I couldn't afford LSR roller nut just to replace my strat's plastic nut.
I use tremolo a lot in my playing, but my tuning doesn't last long. I thought by replacing the current nut with the roller would solve the problem. Thanks.

Hi guys, I need some opinion from you guys about this..

I wanted to upgrade my les paul pickups...rather than swapping pickups , what about the magnets? I want to order pack of magnets which is alnico 2 and alnico 4 from ebay to swap my samick les paul stock pickups loaded with ceramic mags.. I heard some people tend to swapping the magnets rather than the pickups itself...it's like getting a new pickups!- is what some of them said... Some people said their pickups still sucks after swapping magnets... so, now I hear from both sides.. I got confused..

After my 50's wiring mod, the stock pickups are clear and bright. But with gain, the sound sizzles and quite harsh....Is the magnet swap worthy for my samick lp copy ?

Hi, sorry for reviving this thread after a year! Now I already have a Les Paul (Samick Avion Av3) with 50's wiring for blues and classic rock genres, but still keeping the strat for modern sound genres. Now i would like to rewire my strat copy since the wiring isn't installed properly (tone not working) .

I still have the Dimarzio Evo 1 pup in the bridge, 2 single coil stock pups (neck and mid)... i also would like to change the pots, but i'm not sure what pots and caps value suited for HSS wiring and the harshness of the Dimarzio Evo.... could you guys recommend me suitable wiring and values of the tones and caps for my strat? Thanks!

Hi LYN guitarists,

Recently i just bought Dimarzio EVO Bridge, and i'm shocked that the wiring is totally different compared to my stock pickups. My stock pickups only has two wire which is hot and ground....the Dimarzio has five ..... i dont understand much the installation guide... but there's some part where it says when the sound is out of phase ( sound weak and thin), the pickup's pole must be inverted by swapping certain wire combination when installing it. Can someone help me? Thanks guys!

How to make strat sustain?

Hi, LYN Guitarists!
I would like to know whether anyone knows any other method to make strat guitar achieve better natural sustain?

I know some people 'Hardtail' their guitar which disables the tremolo system. Some people suggest sustainer system which cost a lot! ... So, maybe anyone had some other idea ? For now i'm thinking about hardtailing my guitar, but i don't know whether it's better to buy a brass block or just use cheap wood block to block the tremolo.. Thanks!

Hi LYN guitarists,

Can anyone give out their opinion about the SX, Cort, SPEAR les paul copy guitars? Or can anyone suggest some good Les Paul copies out there that have 'les paul' tone and feels..

I'm just a beginner in guitar, but my style is more towards classic rock and blues.. i'm craving for les pauls for their tone and sustain...but no money for Gibson and Epi..

If you ever heard Parisienne Walkways by Gary Moore, the sustain of Gary moore's /Peter Green's Les paul is incredible, can someone suggest les paul copies that can get that much sustain?
