Importing item from overseas

Wanna ask if I were to import certain stuffs for commercial use from Thailand over to Malaysia, do I need to get a permit or something? Is it a must to setup a company for the process? I heard cases of items getting stuck at the customs though those items normally are electrical items I guess?

Is luxury car rental a good business? Curious about how it works because there seems to be a few groups of youngsters doing this. It doesn't seem very lucrative or profitable to me but they seem to be able to lead the high life and sustain their living with another job. Am I missing out something over here?

Can anybody familiar with the car rental business mind sharing some knowledge regarding it? Like how to procure the cars? Sublease from car dealers or private owners?
How does the documentations and insurance coverage work? Prevention of theft?

Just curious in this line of work.

Hi!

Not too long ago, I started a thread on this before, seeking opinions from the people here so I can evaluate on what should i do?

Now I'm back again, I started a thread on serious kopitiam and decided to start one again in this sub. I figured I'm probably reaching my limits and I'm in need of suggestions on what should I do? How to improve myself? Please refer to the post below to have a rough understanding of the current situation.

I have been a QS in this sub-contractor company for about a year now.. You can say that I have a sort of relation with the company, that's why my salary might be considered higher than average. (4XXX RM)

I'm based in Johor Bahru and over this past year, I felt that I didn't gain much and I feel that the work seems to be getting messier and messier. I took over the previous QS and was left with a pile of problems. I don't have the past experience as a QS nor am I a QS graduate. My previous education background was Diploma in C.E from Singapore. Not only that, there isn't any other QS over here. So there's actually no guidance and there's no one that I can learn from. The project's contract sum over here is stated as 40m. I feel that I can't manage the workload, or perhaps I'm just not experienced enough.

Any advise on what should I do? Deeply appreciated because my mind is really just in a messy state right now and I feel that I'm losing my motivation to continue my work.

Seeking opinions as a QS

Been working as a QS for a contractor firm. Did not study QS course but graduated with a C.E background.. I'm the only QS in the company... There's zero guidance and hardly anyone I can learn from since I'm the only QS. System is messy as **** and I'm reaching my limits... For a company undertaking projects at least worth 40M... Isn't one QS kinda too little?

As per topic title, T1FX can be trusted? They really do show that they are slightly different from the other "FOREX" schemes out there.. They have a trustee account for you to put your capital into and there's no capital lock...

I actually like the Honda civic type R a lot but most people said that it's hard suspension is not good on Msia road. Any other recommendations?

Not too sure whether this is the right forum to ask... I'm wondering if degree is necessary/important at all? Personally, I don't see that getting a degree is important but I do believe that knowledge is important though there are other ways that it can be gotten from...

Yet, perhaps due to the majority of the society saying that now so many people have a degree,it seems as though not having one will ruin one's future. This scares me indeed so I'm kinda stuck at a crossroad at the moment. I do have a civil engineering diploma at the moment but it isn't a course that I'm interested in. I'm currently interested in business, properties, stock investments etc. Not really that interested in becoming a professional like a civil engineer. So my plan is actually to start working now and when I'm ready, I will start something on my own...

Can the experienced bros out there guide me along with your views?

There's a certain scenario that involves 3 Directors that i want to understand...

The 3 Directors are also the 3 shareholders of the company:

Director A: 25%
Director B: 25%
Director C: 50%

Director A and B are more actively in managing the company in the present moment, borrowing and withdrawing money from bank account etc will be signed by them both. Director C, who is more of a sleeping director, recently signed a personal guarantee for a supplier.

Is there something "wrong" in the above scenario? Should Director C who is not that involved in the company signed the personal guarantee as from what I know, this will make Director C personally liable for any debts incurred from the company to the supplier whereas the other two Directors wil l be off the hook?

Hey Guys! I recently bought my Birkenstock Gizeh in Singapore. Then i noticed that there's a squeaky noise coming from it when walking. It seems to be coming from the leather straps... probably the buckle rubbing the leather strap? Cause when i loosen it by buckling it to the 2nd last hole, the squeaky noise will be gone i guess... but 2nd last hole is kinda loose for my feet. So can anyone help me on this? Thanks!
