Parking @ Masjid Jamek LRT

Where can you get cheap parking near the LRT station or anyway nearby? Any open-space carpark? I don't walking a bit. The only parking I know is at Dataran Merdeka and it was bloody expensive. RM5 first hour and RM4 for subsequent hour until RM25 max!

Satin pillowcase

Hi ladies! Apparently satin pillowcases are better than cotton for your hair because it will cause less breakage, less frizzy etc. I wanted to get some but most of the bedding I came across are made of Egyption cotton or cotton sateen (which is not satin) or mako satin (have no idea whether this is considered pure satin). Anyone uses satin pillowcases and found it more beneficial than other material? If you know where to buy them, I would be grateful if you would share here

Which is better?

3 companies, the salary is all about the same.

Company: Citibank
Postition: Anti-money laundering analyst

I think the job scope is too narrow. if I want to leave this job, where can I go other than banks, and what can I do? It's a sit in front of the computer all day long type of job.

Company: Genting
Position: HR management trainee

I think this is better in terms of job scope, because you get experience in HR, and any company needs HR. Also more interesting because get to go to colleges, job fairs etc. But may have to spend 2 years in Genting Highland

Company: Sime Darby
Position: Management trainee

This seems to have a train you up and have a good future.

As a fresh grad, which one would you go for? Which seems to be more enjoyable, can learn more things and have a better future? Please list your order of preference. Thanks!

On accepting a job offer

Good day to all,

This is a hypothetical situation. Let's say you really want a position at company A but this company is taking forever to get get back to you. Then Company B, which you never even applied for, calls you and offers a job.

What would you do now?

Would you

a) reject offer B straight even though offer A is not confirmed

b) accept offer B and forget about offer A

c) accept offer B while waiting for offer A

(but what happens if you can't serve the notice period for offer B IF offer A comes through? What happens in this case anyway? Do you have to pay or something of you can't serve the notice period?

Is there someway to hold on to offer B first without committing yourself? e.g. put off signing the letter for as long as possible, tell company B you still need more time to think etc

What can I do?

Have a biotech degree with a high CGPA. I've been looking for a job since graduating late last year but somehow I'm still jobless. Been to tests and interviews but all failed in the end. I seem to have exhausted jobs I can apply too...MT programs at MNCs and banks KO. Jobs related to my degree are hard to come by and then it's usually sales or require experience. Even tried to go through friends and relatives recommendation but it's just not working out. Now I'm considering taking masters of management in hopes of having a better chance...but that requires $$ I don't have. Basically stuck between a rock and a hard place. What can I do now? Tired of feeling like an expensive piece of rubbish
