Telco Coverage for Daily MRT Users

I've been using redone for quite some time. But notice that the connection is getting really bad for almost half of the stations we go through every working day, eg. Taman Midah all the way to Bukit Bintang. It's so bad that we can't even send a msg out through WhatsApp.

Redone is supposedly riding on celcom digi which is supposed to have the widest coverage in Malaysia (not sure how true). Thinking of switching to another telco, so would like to ask you guys on how your connection is like during your daily MRT ride (hotlink/maxis, umobile, Unifi, etc). I don't want to switch to another telco that has the same issue lol.

Thanks in advance.

PS: The bad connection persists through 2 different phones so it shouldn't be phone issue 😅

Unable to turn on the computer

Hi all,

Recently I've been having issue powering on my computer. When I press the power button, I can hear it's trying to turn on but only to lose power in a few seconds. However, the fan would still be running. I could fix it for awhile by opening the casing and clean the dust inside. Also, holding the power button down for 20-30 seconds to drain the power. But this issue would come back after a few weeks or so.

Anyone can suggest what the issue might be? Is it possible that the power supply unit is dying? I'm currently using a FSP Hexa+ 450W. The components of this computer were bought back in 2014. Intel i3 with a gtx 750 if the spec helps.

Hope to get some advice.. And if I need to change the power supply unit, please recommend a budget friendly 1. Thank you.

Digital to analog converter

Hi.. I recently got a Samsung smart TV (refer link for the model: http://www.samsung.com/my/tvs/uhd-ku6000/UA55KU6000KXXM/).
It has only hdmi's, USB and a digital audio output (optical). I'm currently using a Kenwood receiver that uses analog input (red and white rca cable).

Ive actually searched online and I've found a digital to analog converter (http://www.lazada.com.my/digital-optical-coaxial-toslink-signal-to-analog-audio-converteradapter-us-plug-2054421.html). Will this work?
I just want to confirm before buying online. I'm not supposed to buy analog to digital converter rite?

Besides this converter or getting a new speaker, is there any better way to use my current receiver with my smart tv? If there is, kindly recommend. Thanks in advance!

gpu for 1440*900

Hey guys,

I'm currently choosing parts for my pc and I'm uncertain on which gpu is better for me.
I'm looking at gtx 750 and r7 260x. If there's any other that's better in the price range of RM 350-450, pls recommend.

So here are my main questions.
1. Which of these cards to go for?
2. How many gpu rams would i need to run games with medium settings at 1440*900 resolution? Will 1gb be enough? or should i go for 2gb?

More info on the rig:
i3 4130
4gb ram 1600mhz
h81m-k
PSU with at least 400W

I want a build that can last me for at least 4 years. It's a family pc and it's normally for web browsing, video streaming and moderate gaming (gaming only during weekends and public holildays, maybe 2-4 hours a day). The games that i would like to play are Warframe, dota 2, path of exile, etc.
