WTA about GSM Fixed Wireless Terminal

Hi guys, firstly do apologize if i am posting this at the wrong section.

I have a few questions about the following devices :

1. Huawei B683
2. Huawei B593

Firstly you should know my usage requirement is to use the device MAINLY for connecting normal house phone (RJ11) in parallel to it to use the voice calls. TM landline does not support to the area and TM CDMA coverage is a piece of crap. Hence I want to use either Maxis or Celcom voice plan for my house.

Have anyone tried using either one of them and connect a few house phones in parallel using splitter? How many phones can you connect?

If you have other device that suits the requirement do suggest me as well. Even if the device does not support wifi, i'm fine with that too as internet is not my biggest concern.

PS : it's for my gramps house in Kelantan. TM didn't want to install normal landline in the area after a few cases of kecurian cable and CDMA phone no use in that area

[WTA] CPU Laptop Cable

I bought a CPU Fan not from the manufacturer of my laptop but i'm sure the fan is working just fine. the problem is, the cable that came with this new fan is not that long. I have a solder, crimper and etc.

will there be any effect if I just DIY make the wire longer ?

The plan is to cut it in the middle and extend with 3 new wires. so, I don't have to buy new pin or solder to the fan base.

Have you called your ISP's helpline?: no. is it need to do so? coz i can use streamyx without problem by using PC->ADSL->internet modem

like this. i bought the dir300 today and setup everything following the CD instruction. it worked WELL with my PC (wired connection to router). once i turned on my laptop, it worked also but faced the problem same as other threads which is same ip with 2 or more computer thingy bla2. (my pc is xp and my laptop is vista). ok, thats not a problem since i google and search through LYN and i found the solution (at least i thought).

after i did this (not to blame the forummer here coz its my mistake i didnt know anything tho)

it didnt solve anything. ok then. so i disconenct everything and connect my pc -> ADSL -> internet. walla. it work.

so i started all over again. insert cd and follow the instruction.

until it went to which step i forgot it said have problem to restart the network etc2. i think because the setup i did previously is still in the router. so, how can i reset the router so that i can reinstall everything?

isit my router problem or isit because i copied that from the forummer as i mentioned?

please guide me. thanx.

as the title shown, i hav this problem after assemble all the hardware i bought yesterday to install windows. howver upon at the LOGO SCREEN(accoring to the manual), i cant press anything with my keyboard and even numlock led,caps led also didnt turned on. but my mouse (ps2 aso) was working as i can see the red light is on. i had tried with usb keyboard also but useless for sure as usb keyboard and mouse function is disable from factory default so the only way is to enable it through bios setup.

any useer suffer this before? isit my keyboard dead? or my mobo ned RMA? or i forgot to plug sumthing interal stuffs. =,=!

please reply me ASAP if u hav the answer as i need to use it at 9pm tonite if not all my teammate will kill me

NOOB try to build simple system

hey guys.

this is the casing that i try to build new simple and CHEAP system.

this is the switch button

so, the hardware that i want to put in there are :

-AM2 Athlon LE-1600 2200+ 2000MHz
-MSI MS7309
-Apacer DDR2 PC667 RAM 512MB
-W.D. 80GB SATA2
-PSU M-LIFE 350W ATX

all that just cost me RM603 firm in the shop at my area

so, the question is.....is the motherboard that i try to install is fit in that casing? will that switch is compatible with this new mobo?

i dun care about the look. in fact if the mobo is fit but hav to leave the hole at the back of the casing also i didnt mind. just wan practical system only. its for small kid anyway so dun expect fancy graphic card,RAM,or super processor lah

guys,

did any of u applied for this through MOHE website?

i applied in 22nd of november 07. but just now i want to check my application it said 'anda masih belum memohon.' WTF? then, i tried to apply once again and after i click the button 'masuk' the page doesnt redirect to the application form as i did in 22nd of january. however, it stuck there instead. i did this for a few times but the same thing happen. even i choose to 'kemaskini permohonan' also the same shit happen. ie : anda masih belum memohon.

but, on that 22nd of november it already said that i hav successfully applied for this.

anyone suffer this problem now? or anyone did suffer this problem for the apst years? what did u guys do?

i hav a bootable diisk windows xp for my pc. yeah, its not from the company like acer etc. so, it means it can be use for other pc as well rite?
so, if thats the case. if i want to boot my laptop, will it work the same as well?

guys....my friend's 6600 had a problem...

i cant press button 4 5 6 and call button...i think i ter 'potong' sumthn like wire when tryin to take the housing out...
so, if need to repair it how much will it cost roughly? isit possible to be around rm20 to rm40 ?

i need help on how to take out my stock clarion hu unit in my wira..

well, dun tell me about the 'key' that u will get to take out the hu when purchasing new hu coz i aint buyin new one either...im juz wana take a look at the back of the hu about aux in....hehe...who knows i might plug in cable for my ipod or n73...
