Car very hard to start occasionally

Recently it's very hard to crank up my car engine. It only happens occasionally
- definitely not battery problem, changed it months ago
- starter motor is doing strong
- i sent the car to the work shop to diagnose the problem but the problem didn't show up
- it takes about 1-2 minutes to successfully start up the engine, it's just as if the engine doesn't want to start.
I'm driving a 10 year old proton perdana sei. anyone has any idea on which part of the car to check?

edit:
-Alternator and spark plugs have been replaced months ago

Please shed some guide light on me.

I'm a SPM 2007 candidate and I've gotten 8A's and 3B's. I'm a chinese and i do not know where to go. I'm interested in Petroleum Engineering. And currently the only 2 institutes that are offering the course are UTP and UTM respectively. I've submitted an application for UTP but to no avail. My dad is unwilling to send me overseas and thus there's no point of doing Cambridge A-Levels. I've missed out the chance to apply for diploma in UTM.

Currently, my only choice available is:
Form 6/STPM

But the thing is i do not like STPM as they are having a non flexible time table like what i've got in the past. (primary, secondary school)

Can anyone tell me any other choice to pick? thanks in advance.

Hi there, my fren's Nokia 6680 always auto restart for no reason. any solution for this? is it caused by the firmware problem which can be solved by sendinG to nokia center or it's a hardware problem? any other user who ever experience probs like this and successfully solved their problem are welcomed to post. of course, any other experts/pros out there are fully welcomed too. thx in advance.
