Hi Sifus,

I currently have a car which I bought in cash last year (no loan commitment). Is it possible to take a loan on this car of mine? Market value is arouind 90-100k. My income is good enough for the loan to be approved if this is possible.

Appreciate serious feedback

Cheers!

Tenancy Agreement Notice

Hi all,

I’ve signed a tenancy contract for 1 year and it ends on March 2019

Technically, I should be able to move out on 31st March and be eligible for my deposit given I’ve payed all the rents and bills and unit is in good condition.

Since the tenancy stipulates a one year contract,
Do I still need to Give a 2 months moving out notice ?
Since the tenancy ends on 31st March

Car leaking water only when started

Hey guys,

I've encountered a problem. Hope the sifus can help me sort it out. The car recently got overheated while driving. I saw the temp went to the max. No smoke whatsoever though. I immediately stop the car and checked the radiator water level. It was almost empty. So, I top upped the water. Took almost 4 1.5 little bottle for it to reach the max. But, I remembered filling it up only a week ago. I then drive for another 4km and the temp shoot up again. I bought a coolant in a nearby petrol station and refill the tank together with some water. Then, drove the car back home. Topped up more water and kept it for rest. Next day, checked the water is still in max level. Drove the car for another 10km, poof temperature max again. Cool down the car, drove back home, and topped up more water. Today, just to check, the water remain in max. When I started, the water start leaking underneath again and it leaks really a lot. The car is a 04 Chevrolet optra and the water reservoir is not directly on the radiator, its in near the battery and it has hoses connected to everywhere. Anyone has encountered similar issues or have any insights on whats the issues. I'm thinking some hose is loose or something. But the water leaks only then engine is running

Thanks in advance guys

New KLIA2

Hi, just realized yesterday while travelling that AirAsia will be using the new terminal KLIA2 starting May 9th onwards. Was wondering about the new station and fare. Apparently the fare will be the same as you are using to klia and its the last station. I feel its a rip-off. While travelling to LCCT, the fare is only RM10.80 from BTS. Now, if not mistaken RM25. I understand KLIA is for premium users but now everyone will be paying the same and their profit margin will be relatively high yet no announcement about price reduction overall. But when I travel to KLIA, to save money occasionally(when not in rush), I stop 2 stations although time consuming (Save 50% of the cost). So any of you guys have alternative and cheap alternatives to this?..thanks

Wira UK Spec

Hi all,
I recently just booked a Wira 1.5 Manual UK Spec and awaiting the delivery of this car probably by this week. Just wanted to get additional information regarding this car particularly the UK version and what is its common problem and if there is additional features. Additional features that I notice is that it has two airbags and auto door locks. The NVH is surprisingly not bad for a proton. BTW its a 2002 registered 2003 car. So I hope I can get fruitful inputs from all the sifus for what to watch out and be surprised..haha

Car Ownership

I just wanted to know how owners can there be for a single car as in how many names can be included. I'm asking this because we as a group of friends plan to buy a second hand car cash by dividing the equal amount. To be fair, I believe everyone's name should be included as the owner. Assume there is 3-4 of us, is it possible to include everyone's name or there is a max amount allowed under the rules. Honest and experienced answers/opinion is appreciated. Thanks in advance

FC Freaking High

Hey guys,

Here is the details of the car

Chevrolet Optra 1.6
Semi-synthetic Rockoil 10w30

We recently bought this car as a third car because I started doing my internship and we needed an extra car.During the first week fc was at 7.6 km/l and so we changed engine oil and filter as well as the spark plug cable as the foreman said on of the cable has no voltage. After that the fc seemed to improved to 8.5 km/l although its not something to shout about. But yesterday all of a sudden 100km = 15.7l which is roughly 6.3km/l. This us just freaking high for a 1.6 car. We use either petronas or shell. And please give honest opinion instead of korean car,old car, etc. Any experienced opinion is highly appericiated. Btw mileage is 140000km. And I drive moderately 2k-3k rpm.
