Is it just me that finds it disturbing that many people on this forum treat Bangladesh nationals with little to no respect?

They are humans as well. This is not racism, this is beyond racism.

Well-educated people should not behave like this. Well-mannered people treat everyone with respect.

I find it truly unnerving that people degrade citizens of another country. And what's worse is that everyone seems to do it.
Wondering If I'm In The Friendzone?

So I met this girl a little over 2 weeks ago.

She was my housemate (along with another girl) for the past 2 weeks. Now we're in the same building still, but different units.

So during this past 2 weeks, I have been observing her to see if she likes me the way I like her. I find the signals that she gave me confusing.

Personally, I think I am already friendzoned. But one of my friend said I'm not. In fact, this friend thinks she likes me. Here in this post, I'll list out some things she had done or how she had behaved and get some opinion from objective "outsiders".

» Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... «

1. Initiates conversations with me (however small or short the talk is).
For example, when we're both in the living room of our apartment and she's watching the TV while I'm using my laptop (both silent), she will talk to me about interesting things she just saw on TV and make small talk. After the short talk ends and both of us become silent again, she brings up another interesting thing that just came on TV.

2. Tells me all about her family.
In the short span of time I know her, she has revealed so much about her family to me. I think I know more about her family than some of my closest buddies.

3. Talkative.
For example, when I ask how was her day, she tells me all about it. And on the days that I don't ask, she would tell me anyway like "Today in class..." or some other variations to bring up something that happened earlier in the day. Once, she even talked to me about her studies. She was studying all-night long and I was in the living room. She came out of her room, talked to me about what she just studied (I suspect she was just reinforcing what she had just studied), said it was difficult, and went back into her room to continue studying. I am not studying what she's studying though. We study extremely different fields.

4. Rarely asks questions about me.
When I have long conversations with her, it's almost always long because she is talking about her family. She did ask about my family once. But it was cut short because she talked about her relationship with her brother after I talked about my brothers. I don't mind about this though. I prefer listening to talking, so I'm happy I don't have to talk a lot.

5. Does not care about her appearance and/or behaviour in front of me (I think).
Appearance-wise, I think it may be because we stayed in the same apartment unit. It is impossible to always look her best if we stay in the same place. Behaviour-wise, I'm talking about actions that may seem "rough" for a girl, like resting her legs on the coffee table when on the sofa while using her phone.

6. Talks about how "hot" an actor is, or how "hot" a guy she saw earlier in the day is with my other girl housemate in my presence.

Those are the signs. I think it is notable that she has a younger brother who is 5 years younger and that she is a protective type of person. She cares about her brother a lot (like a mother caring for her child) and as far as I can tell, she loves her brother a lot. And because I'm a year younger than her, I can't help but think she may be treating me like a brother.

We have went out a few times and had lunch and dinner together before (1-on-1), but not for entertainment purposes (except for the one time where we were going for a sports activity in university). Lunch and dinner are always after we did something, like shopping or playing sports.

Recently we moved out from our apartment unit to our own studio apartment in a new building. So in the past 2 days we have been shopping for groceries and furniture together (~12 hours spent in 2 days), which led to us to having almost the same things in our unit (same pillow, same table, etc.) which could be interpreted as a good sign.

After our 6-hour long IKEA run and after unpacking everything and assembling everything, I asked her if she wanted to grab dinner at McDonald's. She rejected on the basis that she was not hungry. I was not hungry when I asked her out though. I just wanted to ask her out haha. Is this a bad sign? It should be noted that she wanted to come back from IKEA by 2PM (we left at 12noon) to study, but we overshot her time by 4 hours (reached home 6PM) . So there is also the possibility that she wanted to catch up on her studies and therefore, rejected going to McDonald's.

Anyway, what do you think? Am I already in the friendzone, or there is still hope?

Leaving Soon, But I Like a Girl Very Much

Hi everyone.

In less than 30 days I will be going to UK for my further studies. I will probably not be coming back to Malaysia as my parents want me to stay in UK and my travel/staying documents have been done.

Anyway, I like a girl in my current college. I think she likes me too but I cannot confirm, although I do add in a very tiny bit of sweet talk in my text messages to her. She doesn't seem to mind.

So what can I do at this stage? Or what should I do?

For all I know, I may not see her for the rest of my life after this 30 days. Should I just maintain as "better-than-friends-a-bit", "pre-couple-state" or drop myself right down to friend-level?

Pubic & Head Hair Loss?

Hello, I found out that I lose about <30 hairs (pubic and head) per shower. Is it normal?

When I comb my hand through my pubic area and pull gently, I can also find 5 to 10 pubic hairs every time I'm in the shower.

Should I seek professional help?

I don't have any bald spot and it looks completely normal down there.

Do I Stand a Fighting Chance?

A few weeks ago I traveled with a bunch of friends around Malaysia.

Among us was a sister of my good male friend.

We got along pretty good. During long hours in the bus we chatted alone albeit on different rows of seat (I'm at the front, she's right behind me).

So I tried Step 1 of THE FIVE, eye contact. Several times in fact. Every time works, she maintained the eye contact with me and did not gaze away. Smiled, though.

Step 2, make her laugh. Did it very well but maybe that's because I'm a good joker. I can joke about everything and anything to someone I know well enough. She laughed at every joke, literally.

Step 3, remembering what she said. Little to no chance to show her what I remembered. Was a few days' trip only.

Step 4, physical contact. I never did it. But she did it to me about 3 times. They were playful punches and slaps at my arm (bicep/tricep area), often after I cracked a joke. Sometimes she'll pull my shirt and we sat next to each other quite a few times too (no physical contact though, other than accidental hand-touches on her hand when I rest mine).

Step 5, never did it lol.

She also frequently asked questions with obvious answers to me, other than other people and her brother. I think this is a good sign.

But this girl she has a boyfriend (1 year+). I don't know how well they are but I heard they're pretty close. For that, I decided to stop pursuing her. But it's kinda hard lol.

So anyway, do I stand a fighting chance?

Most Comfortable Accommodation For A-Level

Hi,

I know A-Level (Cambridge or Edexcel) is the almost the same anywhere.

So I'm trying to decide where to study A-Level based on how comfortable the accommodation is.

From this list of schools, do you have some idea about how comfortable the accommodation/studying environment is?

1. Taylor's Sri Hartamas
2. Taylor's Subang Jaya
3. HELP University College
4. KDU Penang
5. UTAR
6. TARC
7. MCKL

Note 1: Please suggest something else if you know of any with comfortable accommodation.

Note 2: Cost is not a factor, for the course itself, accommodation (non-hotels) or otherwise.

Currently, I personally think Taylor's Sri Hartamas probably has the most comfortable accommodation and the best (modern) studying and living environment.

Thanks for your opinion!
