I am currently an engineering student. Planning to get a laptop with budget around RM1500-RM2000. For normal daily usage, not a hardcore gamer, but spends some time on laptop everyday. Any suggestions? or even better， please explain what do i need to check and compare. Thanks a lot. It is like choosing pebbles on the street, how do i choose o.0.[COLOR=red]

Doubts about PRODUCT DESIGN & ENGineer

Hi there... I am new to lowyat forum... need some advices from anyone... spent 1 year deciding what degree to take, but still no decisions made.

I am interested to innovate daily products, furniture, household products, a very common example will be like IKEA.
But may i know what course and i suppose to take to get there?

I always thought by making a furniture, you need some ideas and also the knowledge of maths and physics(tension, force etc).
And i was told that PRODUCT/INDUSTRIAL design is the road to it..
But the course structure of a product design degree is mostly just design and drawing, no maths or physics..
which is a drawback to me because i am a physics student in A levels.

Inquiring, is product design the correct pathway to a furniture innovator?
or there are other more suitable courses like Industrial engineering, material engineering or some course that i dunno?

Help really needed here, i wish i can join in the January 2013 batch. Will be better if any current product design students commenting [COLOR=green]or you know any of them. It is quite hard to find this course in Malaysia yet, so need experienced students too.. PLEASE HELP posting here is my last method of getting info >.< Thanks in advance!
